Our room Mirto had a great "vista mare" view from our little balcony where we could have a snack or drink. No breakfast included in the room rate, but a good variety of cookies replenished daily and a coffeemaker. A bottle of white wine in the fridge, as well as soft drinks & jam. Very nicely decorated room, fresh & neat, seating area for two, nice bathroom. The whole room looked "new", however in an ancient building. Really appreciated this room. Appreciated the clothespins and space for drying our clothes! Extra plus for the extremely nice bathroom. Blå pil = vår balkong. Corniglia is a sweet place. It felt like "going home" when we got back from other towns in the afternoon after our sightseeing trips & hikes. Enough restaurants and bars for a longer stay than our 5 nights! The only problem we had was a loud neighbor checking in very late on the top floor. They were loud and woke us up. I know that there is nothing the host can do about rude people.

I loved that it was close to the city center. We also enjoyed having morning coffee and sunset’s on the patio; the views were incredible. The host provided new snacks and coffees each day and even provided a bottle of wine upon checking in.

On the last night, there were some rainstorms passing by, so there was a bit of a draft that made the sliding front door rattle and knock a little because the guests upstairs in their rooms left their window open. It was a little unsettling since I didn't expect it, but sticking a towel under the door resolved the issue. I think this can be expected of all hotels in the region, so it wasn't a big deal. Just something to be aware of so it doesn't surprise you!

Loved the location -- how beautiful. Truly beautiful cliffside view from the terrace/backyard of the ocean and the mountains. Nice amenities for the room. I think this space is lovelier and bigger than most in the region. And honestly -- I think staying in Corniglia is super underrated. What a lovely town, in rain or sunshine, and super central to Cinqueterre-- it's very easy to the other towns from this one. Also, if you're a hiker, or just happen to need water, there is a potable drinking water fountain right across the little street from the hotel, and it has the best tasting water fountain water in the region. We're hikers so we tried all the water fountains in each Cinqueterre town, and we were very thankful that this water tasted the best! The host and her assistant were very responsive and helpful -- and the room came with complimentary local treats and wine!

Great view! Our windows opened to an astonishing side view on the sea, high above the ground. The room was perfect, nice and clean and confortable, charming and well decorated. We were greeted with a basket containing several treats and a bottle of wine which was a very nice touch. Our host was great, available to answer our questions and responsive. Staying in Corniglia proved to be the best location in Cinque Terre. It was less crowded, felt more authentic and being in the middle of three 5 villages was great. You will have a bit of walking and stairs to climb down if you arrive by car. By train, there is a shuttle to get you in the village… or you can climb the 400+ stairs 😅 Overall we recommend this place without hesitation.

Warm welcome. Lovely quiet location with natural views. Loved our little garden, the birds, the sea. An oasis. A great hiking base. We really appreciated the snacks, coffee, cutlery, bowls which enabled us to do our own breakfast.

Floor being tiled is bit colder, if you walk barefoot. Would have been nice to have indoor slippers.

Nice comfortable clean room with all the necessary amenities, having a lovely backyard with few seating spots to chill out. The view of the sea from the backyard at the sunset is amazing. The room was well stocked with complementary snacks, tea/coffee and some drinks. Toiletries in the bathroom were good quality and with nice smell. Luca who was there at my check in was very helpful, picked me up from the center, even later was replying promptly to any of the queries I had.

We had the origami room. Alessandra gave us cookies, juice, even wine and other stuff and it was delicious and so generous of her. We really liked all the amenities and good service from her. Would definitely recommend. The place was clean and quiet. She is really responsive from whatsapp

The room is pretty small so better for couples or a single traveler. The bathroom didn’t have the best ventilation so it got a little stuffy with wet towels. It rained during our stay so we had to move towels inside, but otherwise it wouldn’t have been an issue.

Amazing location. The balcony and garden are beautiful. Corniglia is less visited and the guesthouse is off the main road so it’s very quiet and peaceful. Amazing location if you want to hike. Great restaurants nearby.

There is no direct parking. You ll have to park your car at the entrance of the village. There 10 free spots (white lines) and 20e/day in blue lines.

The room has everything you need. The view is stunning. Located in the centre but quiet street of the village. The breakfast is OK (snacks and nibbles) but you can buy fresh pastries at the mini market.

To get to the town center from the train station, you either walk about 20 mins (including some winding uphills) or take a shuttle bus. One time the shuttle bus was so crowded it looked like a sardine can.

Corniglia is the smallest of 5 towns. Since it does not have a beach, it is less crowded than other towns. We liked the quietness of the town very much. I would highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy nature more than the crowd.

The apartment was perfect & well cared for. I would thoroughly recommend. A lovely bottle of wine in the fridge to enjoy, daily snacks replenished. We stayed 4 nights & would definitely return. Caution: winding staircase down to the living area/bed may not suit everyone
