Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CroatiaMy partner and I went on a two week vacation to several cities in Italy. Al Borgo Torello in Ravello was by far our favorite one. We had the most amazing view from our balcony in our cozy room named Rose🌹. Just open the windows and you can enjoy it while laying in bed. The facilities were perfect; a big walk in shower and very good air conditioning. The jacuzzi is a very nice bonus, we thought it was going to be a bit warm but the temperature was very pleasant. In the morning you can enjoy a very nice breakfast at the terrace or read a book while laying in the comfy chairs. It’s just the perfect place to rest and reset. One day we will definitely come back, my partner was waiting for the perfect place in Italy to propose and Borgo Torello turned out to be the one. So it will always have a special place in my heart. Also a big thanks to the hosts, they’re so helpful and very kind, we felt very welcome.

United KingdomNothing.
Beautiful views from the garden whilst having breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. Quite a few steps into Ravello square but not a problem for us. That said there was a local shuttle running hourly from right outside the property. Room was comfortable and quiet with plenty of facilities. Daniella and Fabiola were so friendly and advised us of local information. Great jacuzzi and sunbed platform at the front of the building. Would definitely stay here again.

CanadaThe best part of our stay was the wonderful hostess! She was very friendly, conversational, and very invested to make sure that we enjoyed the very best parts of Ravello. The room view was stupendous! The breakfast was very delicious, and the lemon cake was simply to die for!

United KingdomI did not heed the warnings about the stairs! From the auditorium where the bus drops off from Amalfi it is 340 steep stairs down to the hotel (and back up if you want to visit the main square) There is a longer way to walk round but it takes about 50 minutes and there are still some stairs - if coming to Ravello there is no avoiding it! When leaving we did manage to catch the local shuttle bus back up to the auditorium as i don't know how we would have managed up the stairs with our suitcases.
Lovely hotel, amazing views. Daniella was very helpful and the food offered at breakfast and bar snacks was great. We used the infinity pool which had a great view and enough privacy to be enjoyable. We spent some time just sitting and enjoying the garden too.

United States of AmericaSuper clean rooms and really nice owner and staff. Small, quiet, and a 2-minute bus ride to downtown Ravello (the hotel is in Torello, which is an adjacent village). If you’re driving, you can park for 12€ / day on the street just outside the hotel.

United KingdomProbably not one to stay in if you don't want a lot of stairs up to the main town. It's a little out of the way (a steep 10-15 minute walk). I loved it, but it's worth bearing in mind when booking.
Absolutely wonderful stay. Fabiola and her colleagues are lovely, personable people with a beautiful and well maintained property. The stay was peaceful, the terrace beautiful, and the breakfast excellent

United States of AmericaThe hotel told us to take the local bus to the hotel from the central square and the bus would stop directly in front of the hotel. We were told that these buses arrived every twenty minutes. However, after arriving in the town square we waited for a bus for more than an hour and the bus did not stop for us but simply kept driving. The walk from the town square down to the hotel carrying two bags apiece which was arduous and difficult to find.
A lovely little place located outside the tourist area of Ravello but within easy walking distance for those who don’t mind a bit of a climb. The balcony of our room offered a spectacular view of the picturesque towns and coast below and was a perfect spot to sit in the mornings and evenings.

LatviaFrom Ravello you should walk to this place using many steps. For us it was not a problem, but for elderly people could be. The good thing – there is a bus going from Torello to Ravello.
Hotel is located is a very picturesque place with a magnificent view! The rooms are beautifully decorated, nice and clean. Good and delicious breakfast. It was such a pleasure to sit outside during the breakfast and enjoy the view! The staff if super friendly and helpful. Last but not least, there is also a jakuzzi. ;D

United States of AmericaDidn’t love the location. Far from the town, about a 20-25 min walk up hill. They do have a shuttle that runs every hours but often times it was late and once it didn’t show up. We were left waiting for an hour and a half.
Loved the rooms and staff! Very nice and knowledgeable.

A great little BNB overlooking the Amalfi coast. The room was cozy, had a wonderful balcony, and the staff was amazing — so helpful getting us settled in, making dinner reservations for us, and recommending other activities in/near Ravello.

NetherlandsThe taxi from the b&b to Naples airport is super expensive and all the other ways to travel take super long and are very inconvenient. So if this is your last stop before your flight, I would advise to travel back to Naples a day before and have a hotel there. Ravello is amazing, but not super easy to reach by public transport. But Daniela goes out of her way to help you with the transport, so nothing on her, just a little travel advise!
Super clean and cozy b&b. Bit hard to reach because of the steps with luggage. But the breakfast, views and jacuzzi makes you forget about all the stair climbing ;) Ravello is the most beautiful place on the Amalfi coast. Daniela is a great host that helps you with everything you need.

GermanyBe aware that parking will be very expensive in Ravello. It's not the Hotel's fault, just a head's up if you plan to get there by car. There's no designated parking for guests.
Very clean and comfy rooms, nice location and great views. Breakfast in the garden is outstanding. The hot tub is an awesome goody, even in summer. Staff is very kind and attentive. Their coffee alone makes you come back!

United States of AmericaThere was nothing to dislike.
Daniella and Sonia were incredibly helpful. The room was comfortable and we loved having a balcony to have wine on. We were in town during a local festival and were treated to the best fireworks display we've ever seen from our balcony. The cappuccino at breakfast with the view is unbeatable. Ravello was superior to Positano and Amalfi due to being less hectic and it was very cute. Sure, there are stairs but that just means more pasta and wine.
