To clarify other reviews, the steps to town are only if you arrive by train. If you drive, it's a harrowing mountain road--worse from the north than from the south--and you can drive all they way through town and there's only the steps down to Le Terrazza. We couldn't find it without Mariangela as an escort--she was wonderful!

Corniglia was amazing and possibly my favorite place I've ever visited. The apartment was perfect for my family of 4.

The location and the view are unbeatable - in the heart of Corniglia. The host was welcoming and the apartment clean and VERY large and comfortable. We enjoyed views from the balconies and an easy ride on the shuttle to the train station.

Bathroom was very small, but I truly didn’t expect anything bigger, given the age of the building and the fact that it is built into the side of a mountain. Not really a complaint, just something to be aware of.

If you are looking for the quintessential Italian old village, where you literally and physically have to walk through cobble stoned alley ways, up and down many stairs with flowers everywhere, and people out and about, then this place is for you!

The steps to the upper apartments are very steep. We were unaware and some of our guests were unable to get to the apartment due to the steps. There was no AC in the upper apartment.

The location is great. The hostess was very kind. The views from the upper room was spectacular.

The views from our apartment from the terrace were outstanding. We did not want to leave. The location in Corniglia was absolutely beautiful. This is the best town on the Cinque Terre in our opinion.

Many steps up to the room but the view is worth it.

Corneglia is in the center of the villages and perfect place to travel to the other villages. The view of the mountains and the sea was amazing. The terraces are perfect and the room is clean

The location was perfect. We were there in June, which is Cinque Terrie’s busy season, and Corniglia provides a break from the packed towns. The property is located in the heart of Corniglia’s town center. The apartment was very cute and well equipped. The host was very gracious and helpful. It was a perfect experience, highly recommend!

This isn't a comment about what we didn't like, but rather a heads up for anyone that doesn't like stairs. The property, as advertised, has a lot of stairs and isn't for anyone who doesn't like that kind of thing. We had heavy suitcases (we were doing a long trip with Corniglia included) so it made it a good cardiac expeience getting to the apartment, but as I said, we were well aware of this being the fact so we can't complain.

The property was in a central location with resaurants and shops nearby, The apartment was clean, tidy and very welcoming. We really liked having ameniteis such as a kettle and fridge. It was a great base to see all the other coastal villages and it was great that Corniglia is perhaps the quietest of the villages so there weren't as many tourists to contend with.

Stairs. Wish there were taxis for the morning transport to the train station before bus service starts up in the morning.

Locating the hotel was a bit challenging at first, but they soon helped us out!

The town, scenery, terrace views, and local wine were incredible. The people were so kind and excited to share in the wonders of Cinque Terre. Most incredible hotel and region we stayed in throughout Italy.

We walked up and down all over the via to find the house number we were looking for, all with our heavy belongings on our backs after climbing nearly 400 stairs and with our 1 year old only to discover we had missed the number because it was partially covered by decorations on and around the door. This really detracted from our experience because we were so frustrated finding the place.

I loved being able to walk up some stairs and be immediately at a restaurant for dinner, Bodega for convenience items, and a Cafe for my morning coffee. How amazing!

We had a private garden to ourselves. The garden had three levels and you keep finding better views on each level. There is a huge lemon tree right outside our door in the garden! How convenient to use from fresh lemons in your tea! The lounge chairs in the garden provide a perfect place to appreciate the water view!

Our apartment was wonderful. Top floor with a private balcony (big) with an amazing view of both the sea and vineyard-laden hillsides. Very quiet. Our host was helpful and generous. We would love to return soon!
