the property was quiet and beautiful. situated on the edge of the lava field with miles of views we stayed in cabin 3 and everything was clean . enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a long day driving Wish we had more time to enjoy this special place

It would have been nice to have a room with a double bed instead of two rooms with bunk beds. As my husband and I could not manage the steps up to the loft we had to have separate rooms and each sleep on a lower bunk. Our younger family slept in the loft. It was quite small for 4 adults.

We liked the cleanliness, the very comfortable sofa and the bedding and pillows were great. It was lovely to have the hot tub ready for us to use. Nice bathroom and good heating.

Very good stay for be alone Good contact with host. There are three bedrooms and salon and bathroom. Outside one hot tube. If you want to be alone, it's perfect place.

Super cozy and welcoming chalet, perfectly equipped and nicely furnished, with a great attention to details. We enjoyed immensely the jacuzzi with a view on the lava fields and the story of the host family.

The place in general is very quiet, well located and nicely looking. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen has all needed appliances even for longer stays.

The location is quite remote and parts of the access road were rough (there was some gravel too on the road to the south). We were there in the summer, but I imagine it's fantastic for viewing the Northern Lights in the winter!

It was a lovely cabin. While the cabin is small, there is a lot of space to relax. There were two bedrooms and an open loft upstairs with 2 more beds. There are other cabins but there is plenty of space between them, so there is a lot of privacy.

Had a slight issue finding the property but as soon as we entered the exact gps co-ordinates given to us by host it navigation system took us straight there!

Such a unique place to stay. Bunk beds worked great with the children and me and my wife slept upstairs. Great to have a quick hot tub first thing in the morning before heading off for the day.

Only downside is that the location was a little further from the town than we had expected, and quite far off of the ring road.

The cottage was comfortable, beautiful, and spacious - we loved seeing our host's artwork on the walls! The hot tub was also lovely and we appreciated that it was set up for us to use. Everything was very clean and the furnishings were very comfortable.

It took us awhile to figure out how to lock and unlock the door, but this occurred at other places as well, so we attribute it to a difference from what we're used to, not to anything the host was responsible for.

Retrieving the keys from the lock box was easy and quick, adjacent to the door.

The curtains in the living room/kitchen are white which does not block all the lights, making sleeping on sofa bed in the room a little hard.

Robes and slippers for getting in and out of the hot tub would have been great! Also extra towels for the hot tub would have been appreciated and kept the entry cleaner but we managed.

Really cute place with well equipped kitchen. We loved watching the sunset from the hot tub and the room setup was great! Wish we’d spent another night!!

Everything is perfect.

The accommodation is simply spectacular; I've returned to this place 3 times. It's amazing, and the host is very attentive to all of us, paying great attention to the small details. I will definitely be coming back again next year without hesitation.
