The central Airconditioning is little noisy.

Good location and property. Staff is very attentive and eager to help. Good spread of breakfast. Overall a very good property. The swimming pool is nice and clean.

Housekeeping staff took extra efforts to decorate the room as it was my wife's birthday...staff at reception, in the maharashtrian restaurant, in Whispering Bamboos and also at breakfast were very nice and helpful

I was given the last room right next to the exit door and 3 nights i kept requesting them to see if they can change my room, no one bothered to revert back It's surely not a Taj quality Gm never came into the picture inspite of getting tn update about my situation no one took charge of making sure that I was reconfirmed if I would like to change my room due to the discomfort.Mr Chetan met me during my checkout, and apologized which made no sense Also front office was full of freshers who had no clue about alot of things nor could guide or suggest options in my situation They simply said we will get back and no one ever you back full 4 days. So it was an average stay as per the price i paid was more for the location than the hotel. Concord was a better pick which was just a signal away than blue diamond.

The breakfast was the best part of the hotelabd it's on the heart of Pune koregaon park all the happening places are around and walkable

Sadly, over the years. the hotel has lost its attention to detail and the consistency required to maintain the 5 star reputation and banding. This is something management & the leadership, in my opinion, would and should pay attention to. If I had to be brutally honest, It may just scrape a pass on 5 stars for middle management corporate guests and nationals who are perhaps more flexible & adaptable but at international level it would struggle to meet 5 star standards. This is really sad and not easy to write because it is a very good hotel and the staff are truly wonderful and diligent, the location of the hotel is excellent and I am very loyal to the Taj brand and TATA business model (especially as I am a Parsi). Room - This is not the norm so please take this in perspective. On this occasion, my room was next to the housekeeping store room so constant clatter and noise. The bedsprings on my bed were so hard they were vying for 'bed of nails' status. Pillows were like cotton balls stuffed haphazardly into a pillow case. Really shabby and uncomfortable. No hangers in the cupboards. The TV cable box had a mind of its own to work or not. Not a 5 star welcome experience. Housekeeping - Very very poor. Here there needs to be more attention to detail and some consistency of process. Every day was a 'trick or treat' experience. Some day a hand towel missing, some day no towels, etc. Tea, sugar, soaps etc also replenished or not, basically nothing consistent and very much (felt like) whatever the staff remembered or just winged it. Laundry forms ask you to enter any special requests or requirements but they are totally ignored. You find yourself having to constantly ask reception to sort these things out which is very taxing & should not be happening. With a little more hands-on audit & attention to detail of processes & quality of service delivery, there is no doubt this hotel can provide a wonderful 5 star experience.

Location - Very good & convenient if you want to stay around that part of Pune. Also great entrance and look. Reception Staff - Very professional, respectful and helpful. Excellent service. Breakfast staff - Managed superbly by Bablu. The staff are diligent, truly switched on and very good attention to detail. The quality of the food & service is excellent. Breakfast there is a really wonderful experience and a great way to start the day. The salon - Ashraf at the salon is very respectful & caring and has the expertise & skills to provide a breadth of services from male hair cutting, waxing, head massage Gym - Very well equipped and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful, once you track them down. Whispering Bamboo Chinese restaurant - Absolutely fantastic food & service. In India (as I live in the UK) I adopt a completely strict vegetarian only diet (I am non-veg normally) to keep well and free of any illness (from experience). I would highly recommend this to any foreign traveller who wants to stay tummy happy. Best part is that you can experience some amazing veg food and this restaurant is one of the best Chinese food experiences I have ever had (& that is comparing it to full on meat, fish & poultry London Chinese restaurants too). All in all, this is a great hotel which just needs to pay a little more attention to detail & consistency.

Hotels are just buildings ... what differentiates an excellent hotel from an ordinary one is the staff. We got Excellent service orientation from the staff across all the departments - prompt, courteous, competent and always smiling.

1. Housekeeping staff: did not replenish toiletries /towels systematically every day 2. Check out staff took too long 3. The duty manager--Chitnis--called me at 9PM to ask about service (I had just fallen asleep recovering from jet-lag; I couldn't sleep afterwards. In any case, calling so late is not professional). 4. It is an old hotel--so the rooms/toilet are all old/kinda shabby and on the verge of falling apart

The staff friendliness and wanting to go beyond the call of duty. The check in staff (Neha) tried her best to make my check-in comfortable The Latitude restaurant staff was terrific. Vicky, in particular, was amazing making me feel part of the 'family'

Breakfast: South Indian Sambhar was not how Sambhar should taste. Not at all South Indian Misal: The Misal gravy was not at all how Misal should taste, especially in Pune! Not at all Maharastrian. Rooms were little Old and need good interior revamp Bed Matress was hard. Not saying like spring soft & bouncy, but soft like any other 5 star hotels. In short the room lacked the Luxury
