Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We’re currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil, and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomExceptional Stay at a Beautiful Heritage Hotel We visited the national park during the low season as part of our trip around the Golden Triangle. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the hotel, housed in a stunning heritage building. Although the hotel wasn’t fully operational for the peak season, they more than made up for it by delivering a bespoke, one-on-one experience. The staff went above and beyond, even arranging a safari for us. They were incredibly helpful, especially with things beyond their control, like the frequent rain at the end of the monsoon season. Despite the weather, our stay was memorable thanks to the beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!

United KingdomDuring monsoon season, the road from the East is not passable without 4x4. From the south can become impassable. We were the only couple in the hotel for a couple of nights and it did feel empty (not their fault I guess!). The food is bland although the restaurant manager could not be nicer and clearly loves cooking and ensuring guests enjoy their stay.
Lovely hotel, great service with friendly and helpful staff. Room on 1st floor (2nd floor for any of our American cousins reading this!) had very good views. Quiet location away from the village and main road. Pool is good. Comfortable beds.

Hong KongIt is worth noting that this hotel is not on the Main Street. So if you have booked a Cantor Safari you need to arrange transport to the gate and back. Not an issue but be aware
The hotel is as advertised. The staff did as much as they could to help during my stay regarding booking confirmation of safaris , late arrival and check out etc. it has a nice pool, the rooms are large and clean and there is a good selection of dishes for the meals

QatarNot a 4* hotel as advertised. The room was okay but the bathroom was very basic. The breakfast was sufficient, but again, it was not what you would expect for the price and star rating.
The heritage style of the building. Staff were friendly. Room was a good size. The staff helped organise a safari tour.

AustraliaThis hotel presents as a green metal gate on your arrival in the middle of the bush???. Once you enter the gate you are in beautiful gardens and a beautiful Indian heritage styled hotel. Perfect location for catching your safari vehicle. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

United KingdomNothing. It is perfect.
It is a stunning Haveli, and immaculately kept. The room was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Everything was spotless. It was my partner’s birthday when we arrived, and they presented him with flowers and arranged a candlelit dinner by the pool, even bringing a birthday cake! Nothing was too much trouble for them. The best place ever.

United States of AmericaOnly small downside of this hotel is that there is only a dirt road to the hotel. Required a driver to take us to safari pick up point, but this was easy to arrange.
Dinner was great, the facilities were beautiful and excellent. Really appreciated the spa options as well. The hotel is extremely accommodating of the variable safari schedule

United KingdomBreakfast was extremely limited in selection and probably the worst I had on my trip. The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The front of house staff weren't very friendly. The place smelled of smoke because everyone smoked in the hallways which then came into the rooms. The bathroom needs updating, and there's no divide for the shower which means water will go everywhere, soaking everything. The location is on a very small dirt track road which isn't in good condition - it takes a lot longer than expected to reach it.
The rooms were cute and large. The waiting staff for breakfast and dinner were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Dining is all catered around safaris so even if you're late coming back in the morning they will often wait for you. The location is very quiet and peaceful.

The hotel is a 5 -10min drive from the Ranthambore park entrance, but it is away from the main road in a quiet location. The garden and lobby of the hotel are lovely, and our bedroom was large and the wifi was OK. We ate a la carte in the restaurant and the dishes we chose were delicious. All the staff we friendly and polite and helpful when we asked for help with things.

IndiaCould do with some modernisation eg. TV had no overseas channels, room WiFi not working, bit disorganised at times in terms of safari arrangements, early morning pre-safari staff in the breakfast room quite rude.
Comfy bed, hot shower, beautiful building, stunning gardens, very helpful and caring staff in general.

United KingdomThe shower wasn't separate from the bathroom so the floor would get wet everytime. The dirt road to get to the hotel from the main road was quite bumpy and inconvenient at times.
The hotel was beautiful with lots of spaces to relax and enjoy the Haveli. The lunch/dinner buffet and breakfast was pretty good too and the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We felt looked after.
