This really is a minor one for me as an older person I would have liked to be able to have afternoon tea with cake and a choice of sandwiches for the times you might head back during the day There was only bar food available all day which was more than we would want midway between breakfast and evening meal

From the greeting at reception to all the staff that served us throughout our stay were so friendly and helpful the team are truly invested in making sure guests have all they need The food in the bar is really scrumptious can’t comment on restaurant as we did not eat in there The breakfast Buffett and choice of cooked food surpassed all our expectations with again attentive staff The hotel is well staffed and refreshingly so as so many aren’t these days

Everything was five star, exceptional staff at reception and the bar. The breakfast staff cheered up everyone with large smiles and a customer orientated attitude.

There was some banging/hamering going on from about 8 am on both mornings. We understand works have to take place but it was disappointing to be woken up both mornings by this.

Food in the bar was excellent. We had a heritage room and it was gorgeous. All round fabulous hotel.

The staff are amazing in particular the reception 😍 The rooms are stunning and if you are lucky enough to get a view they are amazing! The bar menu suits all and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced , the lobby is comfortable especially at this time of year with fires lighting , breakfast was delicious with ample choice. It was a special occasion for my son & I and the hotel went above and beyond to make it memorable ❤️

One of the most beautiful hotel I've seen in Ireland. The spa is like a 5-star hotel. The food is beyond perfect. The staff's behavior. If you're coming to Killarney, definitely visit this hotel. I recommend it to the end.

we never have any complaints as it is always top class. However, this time we stayed in one of the heritage rooms, and we were excited to see the new decor, even though it was beautiful and clean, and the bed was so comfortable.. the rooms are advertised as being soundproof, and we were woken a few times during the night by other guests coming out of the elevator. My partner also ordered a glass of wine from the bar and there was an old lipstick stain on the rim, which disappointed us. But we will still be back 👌😁

We like to treat ourselves to a night away in the Brehon every so often, the spa is bliss 😊 and the staff are always so attentive and lovely!

The view that I paid extra for not great as first floor room. The fact that the spa expected you to come down in your robe and did not provide one and were not as welcoming as staff on reception.

This hotel has Beautiful open spaces to relax in on different floors. Lovely paintings and pictures reflecting Ireland added to the character of the hotel. Large spacious bedroom but paid extra for a view but mainly saw neighbouring hotel and carpark as was put on first floor. Breakfast was delicious well trained staff and beautifully presented delicious options. Eg fresh bread, scones,smoothies. The spa was very relaxing. Bedroom was very clean with a generous supply of towels. We are in the bar and had excellent service and the meal options were great. I had a home made soup and my daughter had the vegan option. Both were excellent.

The hotel is pricey and the water in the jacuzzi and the pool was cold as there was an issue with the electric the first day of our staying. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

The spa in the hotel is ideal for having a nice and relaxing time off. The room was clean, spacious and the bed very comfortable.
