Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

My children and we all loved this mobile home.We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of November. We were afraid that we would get cold, but the heating was very good. There was everything necessary. We would definitely like to come in warm weather and enjoy the balcony and garden.I can't give information about the shuttle service because we are with our car.But it takes 20-25 minutes to go to the tourist attractions by car.

United KingdomThe cabin was maybe a little cramped. The sofa was not very comfortable and the double bed was also not that comfortable.
The location was handy for getting into central Paris and also out to Versailles. The staff were very helpful and the on-site restaurant/bar was very nice

United KingdomSome staff behind the bar/food area looked exhausted and clearly don’t enjoy their job, not sure if they’re understaffed but one young girl looked so unhappy and just didn’t look like she wanted to be there anymore. They either need more staff to help them out or they’re just genuinely miserable. The bus drivers are miserable too, might just be a French thing, but one driver refused to help out a family get on the bus, they had twin babies and a double buggy, it was really embarrassing.
Very clean, had everything we needed, location is good to be away from the city centre noise.

United KingdomThe tent we stayed in was one of a small number really close to the river bank and hydroelectric dam which is constantly noisy. Ear plugs were required at night.
The facilities were good, great cafe / bar on site and good bus connection to local metro / train station. Very spacious tents.

IrelandThe cabins and rooms are on the small side, but this is generally the position in Paris.
The overall facilities in the Campsite are great and the staff are very helpful. It is also in a good location to get to the centre of Paris very quickly. There is a shuttle bus that goes to the nearest metro station that enables you to go everywhere very quickly. It is also not an expensive taxi ride from the centre of Paris. It is lovely to have lots of green space and to be able to relax outside in the heat of the Summer of Paris. There is a bar and cafe and a small shop on site tom get your basic groceries.

United KingdomThe kitchenette didn't have a kettle, a toaster or an oven but we made do with the hob and micowave. There seemed to be an abundance of police traffic using the road behind the site but this may have been due to the Olympic Games.
A beautifully shaded area on the banks of the Seine with clean facilities and extremely friendly staff. A short walk to local shops if the campsite doesn't have as much as you need as well as some games to keep the children entertained.

United KingdomThe wifi in the chalet or around most of the site did not work. This was not an issue for us on this visit but may be an issue for other visitors.
We stayed here whilst we attended the Paris Olympics. The bus provided by the camp site was extremely useful and connected us with the trains. The chalet, although small had everything that we needed and was a good base for us. Although the site was busy we were surprised how quiet it was at night, no noise at all. The other visitors were very respectful .The staff were very helpful & friendly. The bar and take away shack were a good place to unwind on an evening or afternoon. The bar had a good atmosphere in the evenings with the Olympics on the tv. I would definitely stay here again if I came to Paris and will recommend to people.

SwitzerlandOnly (big!) downside was the walls were really thin and any time someone rolled over in the bunk bed room, or moved around in the chalet, the whole place shook! We had to put towels in the sliding doors to stop them moving and banging Couldn’t get wifi to work at all whilst we were there Some staff appeared disinterested / unfriendly
We stayed in a wooden chalet for 5 It was lovely - great kitchen and bathroom, nice deck Site facilities were fantastic - gorgeous bar area and the whole pace was spacious and well done

United StatesThis isn't the fault of the campground, but while riding around the Bois de Bolougne, we saw several young men just standing around by themselves. It was a little creepy. Like they're drug dealing or soliciting sex. This was near dusk, so we wondered if it was dangerous. I probably should have asked where it's safe to ride beforehand. It would have helped if the kitchen had some condiments for cooking. When you're coming from another country, it isn't practical to bring such items with you.
It is such a unique experience, to stay in a cabin in the middle of Paris! The campground buildings appear to be relatively new and are beautifully designed. They have a very natural, relaxed feel to them. The playground was recently upgraded. We enjoyed renting their bikes and riding them around the nearby Bois de Bolougne. The beds were comfortable.
