Nothing, it was a 10 out of 10 with a great value for money.

This was probably the most amazing stay we had in Indonesia. We initially booked for three nights, but ended up staying for six nights. The location at the beachfront is wonderful, the garden with the pool are an oasis. The breakfast is great, but the absolute highlight is the staff. They are so helpful and nice, we enjoyed every minute. Thank you!

Everything was perfect.

Amazing place! Perfect for relaxation and chilling out. It was the first time in my travel history that I've stayed in the resort for 3 days without even leaving the place ! Resort is just perfec size and never ovecrowded, you can always find sunbed or free hammock. Loved the pool area, very well organized and always keept clean. The staff is just amazing, very friendly and professional, extreamly focused on guests needs. Food was very good especially barbecue night. The place is just perfect spot for the sunset watching! I can truly recommend the place for people who are looking for quiet resort with professional service.

The staff at the Chandi are so genuinely welcoming, helpful and kind, they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The grounds are beautifully designed and maintained. The food was very delicious, loved the BBQ, compliments to the kitchen staff. My garden room was spacious, super comfortable beds, and the outdoor bathroom was amazing. Lovely pool which was never busy. Stunning cabanas, hammocks and seating in perfect places. A wonderful happy hour and sunset views.

I was really surprised and a little inconvenient that they have no one on reception before 7am. I haven’t come across that before at any of the hotels we’ve stayed in on our South East Asia travels. We went to check out at 6.30am and no one was able to check us out. A really lovely pool attendant and security guard came over to try help us out. They offered for us to have breakfast until 7am when the receptionist arrived but we explained we needed to get to the airport so had to check out. He took my number and let us leave and I completed check out and payment over WhatsApp. Not ideal and a little unfair on the staff who had to step in to try and sort us out. But a big thank you to the pool attendant and security guy who helped us! We were also told on arrival at the hotel they had building work going on so it might be quite noisy through the day. It was okay and overall wasn’t too disturbing as I think it’s near completion, however I do think that’s something we should be notified of before we arrive. All this being said though, the hotel was absolutely stunning and I’d 100% go back because of the staff!

The staff!! All the staff were exceptional, all very friendly and welcoming. They became familiar with our names and room number from the first evening of our arrival and all made so much effort with us, especially Helen and Helmi. Helmi even came over to say goodbye to us when she was leaving as she knew when we were checking out!! The rooms were huge, the pool was lovely, located right on the beachfront and the food was incredible! You do need to get a ‘Grab’ to go anywhere out the hotel as it’s quite isolated but it’s not a big deal. They did regular spraying for mosquitoes aswell which we really appreciated.

While the hotel itself was fantastic, the surrounding area has seen better days. Some of the nearby hotels that you pass by are in disrepair, hinting at a time when tourism in this area was more vibrant. Additionally, although the hotel offers a beachfront location, the beach and sea were unfortunately not as clean as we had hoped, which deterred us from swimming. This is largely due to the beach being public, so it’s beyond the hotel’s control. Lastly, there was some ongoing construction for a beach bar during our stay, but it seemed close to completion and didn’t cause too much disruption. Despite these minor drawbacks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the overall peaceful environment made it a perfect place to relax.

The hotel is located in a wonderfully peaceful area on the quieter side of Lombok, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. The serene garden and pool area, situated right by the sea, add to the overall tranquility. The German owner is present on-site, personally ensuring that everything runs smoothly, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of choices, and the restaurant served high-quality meals with an impressive selection, although the prices were slightly higher than expected. With only a few rooms available, the hotel maintains a quiet, calm atmosphere, perfect for unwinding away from crowds.

It's an amazing place! I love it. Very beautiful. The houses are very nice, quite big, with good air conditioning, with Netflix and they have benn cleaned every day. The resort is great for me. Very nice, clean beach with amazing sunset in the evening. Very good swimming pool, nice garden and restaurant with very tasty food and not too expensive. But the biggest impression is the staff - amazing people, very friendly and helpful. From the security to the waitresses. It was fantastic. I really want to go back there and I can really recommend.

Nothing - couldn’t fault it. A really special place.

Amazing facilities and beach front property. We loved lounging on the bean bags and hammock on the beach, especially at sunset when the views were incredible. The restaurant food was great and all of the staff were so friendly, particularly Helen, Helmi and Lutfian. It’s about 45 minute drive from Bangsal Port but over an hour from some of the islands attractions like Tiu Kelep and Benang Stokel waterfalls. You can organise tours of the island and snorkelling trips through the hotel but we were only here a short time so just wanted to relax, and this was the perfect place to do so. We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, my towels were on the floor and they didn’t swop the towels/ bath mat with fresh ones. I was a little bit sad/ upset. Cause they marked this information separate.

The hotel is directly @ the beach and you’ve got also sunbeds. That’s just amazing! The breakfast is more than great - you will get a whole BINGO paper sheet for choosing 😜 The tiny little villas are just so brilliant: lots of of light in there cause of the big windows & wide garden. Wish I had such a tiny „flat“ back home - all you need for a life with freedom & joy. 🙏🏼☀️

First of all, we really enjoyed the stay and also rated the hotel with 10/10. But there are still small things which are good to know for future guest or offer room for improvement: - The road is quite close to the house and one could hear from time to time the scooters - Dinner is for Indonesian standards more on the pricy side and the portion are (except for the all you can eat bbq and curry nights) not big. However, the food is of good quality. - We asked for help and information to get to the Gili islands. But the staff could only offers us their own pre planned and expensive day trip. They didn't know about ferry schedules or prices.

- The very nice resort and houses with the amazing outdoor bathroom - The staff is super nice and friendly - We had breakfast included and it was tasty and a lot. There was no need for lunch - Senggigi is just a 10min taxi drive away and offers a great variety of restaurants - Really good BBQ night on Saturdays - Clean and cold swimming pool

As stated restaurant was superb but we found a little pricey compared to other resorts with the same rating.😞 You need to hire a scooter or taxis as the resort is outside Senggigi.

From the moment you enter, this property is stunning! with beautifully kept gardens. The bungalows are gorgeous, super clean and the outdoor bathroom is a dream. The staff are exceptional, very welcoming and attentive. On-site restaurant is superb, breakfast is excellent We celebrated our Wedding Anniversary during our stay and the staff decorated our room upon our return from the beach with celebratory cake also.

We are still glowing from our week-long stay at the Chandi. We loved everything about this boutique hotel. The villas are pretty and very comfortable. The outside bathroom was amazing (and still very private). From our front porch we could enjoy an amazing view of the ocean while soaking up the lush greenery of the gorgeous garden. The pool was refreshing and there were always sunbeds available. These were so comfortable! The staff were very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfasts in the restaurant (with a fabulous view). A check off breakfast menu was provided, and if you wanted more the staff was only too happy to bring it. The fresh juices and fruits were simply amazing. We also enjoyed several dinners in the restaurant. The prices were fair and the food very tasty. We especially enjoyed the barbecue evenings. The spa was also a treat. The massages were affordable and really wonderful. We also booked several outings through the hotel. All of them were wonderful from snorkeling in the secret Gillis to hiking to Tiu Kelep. The beach at the hotel is not one of the legendary white beaches with crystal clear blue water. But we knew this ahead of time. The ocean was still good for swimming (with beach shoes). The hotel is centrally located for many excursions and beautiful beaches are close by. The peacefulness and beauty of the hotel itself made up for the beach. Thank you to all the staff at the Chandi who made.our week so wonderful! We hope to return very soon!

The sunset view on Bali is amazing. The pool is really quiet. Karmila and Ratni at the spa have incredible hands! We loved to book treatments and massages with them especially every day during our stay. Pick any treatments from the list they are great. More generally all the staff is very welcoming!
