Shower room and comfort room has a leak under the door. Not a big isssue for us. But for some, maybe it would be.

Lift access is very busy and you can wait some time to get up Few stains on bed sheets and towels Took the stairs 1 night as the lift is so busy and my partner was cornered and offered drugs Be mindful the rooms are very very small

Best thing about this is it is the most affordable option in the best location. Relatively clean, friendly check in staff, free water, fridge freezer, hot water in hall way

Some people will really not be comfortable in chungking mansions and I advise you to look into it first. It is very small, high up, multiple guest houses on each floor, firetrap wiring everywhere and I understand there is a lot of 'dodgy dealings' downstairs but I must say I didn't come across anything significant it in 5 nights. You aren't supposed to use the stairs due to drug addicts but I used the stairs many times and I never saw anyone. There are doormen watching the lifts and managing the queues.

I had no idea chungking mansions had such an infamous reputation, I simply booked a room last minute without much research. To be fair to this place, the room was tiny, with a shower over the toilet, but it was very clean, they gave me new towels and made the bed every day and the wifi was good, I was honestly surprisingly comfortable. There were a couple of small windows that opened which made it feel less claustrophobic. Had no bother at all, it is a very cheap option in a very central location.

It's super typical with Hong Kong stays, so, not too big of a deal, but sharing the shower head with the toilet is annoying if you're not used to it. Rooms are quite cramped, but to be expected!

The staff was so attentive to all of our needs and gave us tips for travelling around. It is what is to be expected of Chungking Mansions, but exceeded expectations. The staff certainly helped in that aspect and the room was exceptionally clean.

Clean when you enter but i never got my room cleaned/changed towels during my stay. Unfortunately there are cockroaches around

Cockroaches everywhere! I had to keep my room lights on the whole time because l was so scared that the cockroaches will crawl on me while l’m asleep. I had very hard time falling asleep due to the noise from the AC. It’s so annoying! The staff were so nice but, the experience in this accommodation left me really stressed and deprived of sleep.

When i arrived the hotel, my room was stayed by others. So it was double booking unfortunately. But the staff quickly organized more high grade room for me.

Only one elevator to get into the property. The EMvator is small and gets quite crowded, often there's a line to get in. The area can feel a little bit sketchy but Hong Kong is relatively safe so we weren't too worried.

Very nice staff, they're open and able to accommodate late arrival. They are also willing to receive mailed items for you prior to your stay. Location is great, very close to Exit N5 of Tsim Sha Tsui.

lots of weird people in the building and a really weird and extremely loud guest in my dorm room

its really hard to find the place! its in Chungkin Mansion block D. you have to walk just inside and then to the left you will find a elevator that takes you to 16 floor where the hostel is. on the floor they have about 6 different names for same hostel.

My stay was very nice room was very clean. The people is very helpful. Location is super very near the metro station. The bus come from the airport just on the next to the hotel stop according to the price room was very nice.

The location of the guest house is in a big dirty building, where on the first floor there id a massive market. Because of the food sold on the market, there were cockroaches everywhere in the building. Including our room where we stayed. The private bathroom was ridiculously small and we couldn’t take a proper shower. Also, cockroaches were both in the room and bathroom. At the end we had to find another accommodation and moved out after the first night (were supposed to stay for 3 days).

Very basic, reasonably clean, tiny room. The building itself is an old, depressing, dirty, death-trap (in the event of a fire). The access is through a communal entrance for the entire building with 'gentlemen offering to sell you drugs etc at the door. There are two lifts, one servicing odd and the other even floors. These are small and take forever. I wouldn't stay here again.
