Confusing location in the beginning and Only one elevator going up and it takes very long and downstairs the men always tries to chat so annoying

There were cameras everywhere on that floor so it was safe and the staff and owner were very helpful!! Very close to my locations ! Very easy transportation around the whole city! Also the owner is very sweet she helped me with my luggage and gave such amazing suggestions! Thank You!

Bed was small and was a tight squeeze for 2 people. There can be a queue for the lifts but it was never more than 10 mins for us and the system for using them is efficient.

The room is very small, the shower is quite sketchy and water was burning hot, toilets were broken, and the hostel is in a quite dodgy and dirty building.

Really cheap price for a clean room in a very central location. Staff was friendly.

It was difficult to find the entrance to the hotel at first, the room was small and the elevator/stair situation is complicated.

The staff was very friendly, the room served its purpose (shower & sleep), noon checkout is great, but the best part was its location. The staff also allowed us to keep our luggage safe with them for a little while past our checkout time.

I saw a little mold in the bathroom, but it is expected with such humidity and no windows which could be opened.

It was the tiniest room I had ever seen, but it gave me all I needed (clean bed linen and towel, teapot, hair dryer, cold and hot water, own bathroom, ventilator and a small window also). It is not so hard to find the place — you just need to go through stalls to lifts and choose the right one. Nice transport accessibility!

The room is very small and without windows it makes a depressing impression - this must be kept in mind. The building is not in very good condition, quite dirty, with queues for the elevators and rather dubious characters on the ground floor.

Very friendly staff. The room was cleaned periodically, towels were changed, consumables were added. The location is excellent - the waterfront with stunning views of Victoria Harbor is very close, as is the Kowloon area and many other interesting places. Hong Kong hotel prices are super high, so this is a very good budget option.

Arriving at night is intimidating. Ground floor of the mansion is a market and very busy. People hawking accommodation. AC was adequate, room needs airing (slight damp smell but no evidence as very clean).

Centrally located near the train station, easy walk though some stairs in exit C2 from the train. Lift to 20th floor B block easy to navigate. Great solo room with single bed. Clean and good vibe. Staff very lovely.

Aircon stopped working in our last day of stay but owner offered to switch us to a new room. Nothing that we did not like we already expected just a decent room to stay for 5 days.

The owner and her assistant is very welcoming and friendly. They cater to our needs as soon as requested. Near TST MTR and shopping district. Great location in city center! Fair price considering how convenient its location is.

Rude staff, room wasn't ready at check in time. The owner said I could find another accommodation or be downgraded if I wasn't happy to wait for the room. Took an extra hour for the room to be ready. The toilet never stopped running . No hot water because of this. Would not recommend

The room was literally the size of my bed. I couldn’t find space to put my bag down, and the room was shorter than me so sleeping was uncomfortable. The whole area seems super dodgy. Lifts take forever to get, the building is full of suspicious looking rude people who will cut the line to the lift so watch out. I regretted staying there so much. I met a guy who just gave up on the money and booked somewhere else on the first day. Definitely overpriced for what it was! Find somewhere else. Or at least look up the building name on Wikipedia before you book it. It’s the biggest tourist trap in HK.

There’s not a single thing I could think of that I liked about the property.

The bedroom was really small. The toilet and the shower share the same room. The bed is not really comfortable. There is too hot inside the room even with the AC on because of the noise you would have to turn if off in order to sleep. Also there is a lot of humidity inside the room. Totally not worth the price. I felt like I was living the real Hong Kong experience since the city seemed oppresive and thought I wouldn't make it alive.

The location is good next to the Avenue of Stars in Kowloon.

Well, at this price you gotta save space somewhere, so the showers are in the same room as the toilet. This means the seat would be wet regularly, because of people showering. Tissue was provided and albeit for me unusual, everything worked. Wifi could be stronger in the rooms. The queue on the elevators could be long (not their fault though), and Chungking mansion (the place the hostel is in) is not very clean.

The staff was very kind and helpful. In my first room the wifi connection kept breaking off, and after trying a couple of fixes, I got assigned a new room. Towels were provided, the room felt spaceous for HK, and the cleaning service was good. Location was great. Also, good place to get indian food.

This is Hong Kong, if look hostel makes friends and go out, not ideal places. there is no social events, Wish was group app so people could join and make more sociable. I had great time anyway, The metro is closed by 2 stops from central Tokyo.

For a hostel, hong one standards, very nice. Clean and small. _Ideal place for those first visitors and singles. I was able to book 1 hour before and get someone hotel open. The bathroom is outside room and shared but very clean,.

Our room is filthy and smelly. The bathroom looks greasy and disgusting and so tiny. You have to wait for min 15 mins to get hot water. Also when we were in the room with the door shut, a stranger opened the door and just walked in. We booked for two nights but couldn't stand the poor condition of the room and had to book a new hotel. The new one is 5 mins walk away with a much cleaner and nicer room but only 100 HKD more per night than this Apple Hostel. Worst experience I've ever had.
