Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Very nice huge room, clean, with balcony. Very pleasant pool area. Quiet and away from the crowd but still very convenient location with lots of restaurants around, a lovely bakery not far, as well as bus stop.

United KingdomThe walk into Fira could be too much for some. The bathroom was ok, could do with a stronger shower. Would be perfect if the room had tea and coffee and a kettle.
Exterior of building/pool area is beautiful, bright and clean. Plenty of sun beds and shaded seating. The room was very big, and the fridge was a life saver. The air conditioner was strong. The cleaners were very attentive. The Pool is very nice and a decent size for the property. The locations lets you explore Katerados which has some great restaurants at exceptional value. Very quiet hotel for peak season.

United KingdomIt's very close to Fira, just a short 15/20-minute walk, which is convenient. The pool is lovely. The room was a good size, with a kitchenette and a balcony. The space was very clean, and the cleaning lady would knock on the door every morning to clean. The WiFi connection was good too. However, the beds and pillows were uncomfortable, and I had back pain by the third day. Luckily, I had an extra bed because one of my friends couldn't come, and switching to it was slightly better. The communication was sometimes lacking, as there wasn't always someone at the villa. I asked for help using the stove because it wasn't switching on, and I was initially told it wasn't working. When I complained that my food would go to waste, the person in charge came and switched it on in one minute. Overall, it's a good place to stay, and I would stay again because it's very close to the main town and very clean and cute. My only feedback for improvement is to enhance communication for future guests.

United KingdomThe towels were a little hard.
It was very clean and close by to local restaurants and a supermarket five minute walk up the hill. Also only a 20 minute walk to the main tourist attractions of Santorini in other direction. Staff were helpful and nice. The swimming pool was very nice to have, everything you need for a stay!

United States of AmericaI realize people have different preferences when sleeping. That being said the beds were much too hard for our tastes. Also, there was no where to hang the shower head which just made the shower a little bit more of a chore.
Spyros was a great host and I enjoyed chatting with him. The place was spotless clean and it was a 15min hike to the central bus station in Firo. The pool area was a nice bonus.

LithuaniaThe place is ~15 min walk away from the bus stop (Karterados), which stops when going from Airport to Fira. Also this place is ~20 min walk away from Fira. We had a very warm welcome - host was really friendly and supportive - was always for your needs on whatsapp. Room is well equipped - shower, towels, soap&shower gel, little refrigerator, aircon. Room size was enough for two people, we got one in the first floor, with the view to the yard where are hanging washed bed linen, but it doesn't matter, since we were out on daytime. However - they have rooms with the terrace or balcony in the first floor also (keep in my mind, if relevant). The host offers a breakfast for 10eur/person - you can get coffee, sandwich (with ham, cheese), omelette or scrambled eggs, yogurt with granola. Also there could be served some local fruits, depend on the season and if farmer comes to this place. Overall - this breakfast is probably the cheapest breakfast you can get in the Karterados area :) Host also have a promotion for car/motorbike rental, but that place is somewhere a bit far away (~30 min walk), but however in the street, just right on the corner - there is another rental spot - we used it and we satisfied with that. Pool! They have it and we tried it couple of times - very cooling on hot days. To lay on the sunbeds for a while and jump into pool - could be a good afternoon idea for to get chill :) Overall - we're happy choosen this location to explore Santorini, because it wasn't so far from Fira by walk, and we everything get around by rented motorbike (included Oia, Pyrgos, Akrotiri Lighthouse), just 10-15 min from the bus stop from where you can get a bus to Fira (and only from there to Oia), to Airport, or to sea port.

South AfricaThe beds were a little squeeky and could use some updating but otherwise the rooms were clean and neat. Hosts were very friendly and assisted with everything we needed. There was not too much that we would change from this hotel.
The hosts were incredibly friendly. They assisted with everything needed. The location of the property was a bit far away from the city center, but seeing as we hired a vehicle, it was not too difficult to travel.

United KingdomNothing it was a brilliant place.
Katherina went above and beyond for us. Our ferry was cancelled due to a Ferrymen strike. She kindly rang the ferry company up on her phone and sorted everything out for us. Also she managed to find us a spare room at her hotel for the extra night too. If I could rate this place i would give it 20 out of 10, I would do. Extremely clean, tidy and lovely quite. Breakfast was extra (€10 per person) but well worth it

ItalyComfortable accommodation, it is worth the price totally. Katerina is a very kind person who always smile and this create a good atmosphere with the guests. The room has been cleaned everyday and we received new towels everyday. She also kept our luggage after the check out meanwhile we went in the city. Common area and the pool perfect to spend some time together so 10 out of 10 for everything.

United KingdomKaterina allowed me to check in really early, greatly appreciated. The structure is bigger than in the photos and it is really cute. The bed was really comfortable and the cleabing is done daily. Swimming pool is not so big but it made a difference when i needed to cool down after a day spent visiting the villages in Santorini, so refreshing. Fira is only 15 minutes walk but there is also a bus stop 3-5 minutes away. Overall recommended. Thank you.

ItalyUnfortunately even though there is a bus stop nearby to go to the port, you can't rely on it stopping for you in the busy season so we still had to get a transfer at a cost of €35. This was organised by the hotel though and was extremely comfortable and well worth it.
Super cute place with really welcoming staff, lovely pool. We needed a place just for one night in between a flight and a ferry and this was a cost effective and comfortable solution in a convenient location. A few shops, supermarket and bakeries within walking distance!
