The sunset is superfluous from the balcony! We truly enjoyed every moment in Vacay Suites. The host is very helpful. It was a bit cold in February, I asked that if it is possible to get more duvet. She provided in the afternoon!

The major drawback was the breakfast. It is provided by an outside vendor and came in a prepackaged basket crate delivered to the doorstep each morning. Consisted of a cold hard boiled egg and small finger sandwich on a bun w a few tiny biscuits and a bit of yogurt and fruit. Sufficient to get out the door and start the day but nothing varied or especially tempting. But as it states in the description this is not a hotel with a kitchen staff. And there are several restaurants/cafes nearby for breakfast if one so chooses. For those with mobility issues the flight of steps between the loft bedroom and the first floor bathroom could be problematic, especially when getting up in the middle of the night to relieve oneself.

The view is unbeatable. The location is ideal, mainly because it doesn't involve any steps like so many other accommodations on the caldera edge, and also because it's close to the main road where there is plentiful free parking if you're renting a car. Firostefani is much calmer/less tourist intense than adjacent Fira. The owner Dimitra is very responsive to any reasonable requests, though everything is handled over the phone or by messaging. It worked well for us. Our suite felt very spacious for the two of us.

Only suggestion would be to add a microwave. We could have used one for leftovers, but not a big deal. Also, in the off season, many of the nearby restaurants close down, so it's very quiet. Some may prefer being closer to Fira in the winter to have more things open nearby (but we loved the quiet).

Great property with fantastic views. The breakfast they have delivered each morning is fantastic. Traditional greek decor was enjoyable and the bed was very comfortable. Host very easy to work with. If you are going at a busy time, the unit is conveniently AWAY from the madness of Fira, but still close enough to walk into town.

The location is perfect, view’s incredible, the apartment is a really good size and spotlessly clean. Breakfast delivered each morning was a real treat (even provided gluten free treats).

A shower curtain is needed so the bathroom floor doesn't puddle. Instructions for the coffee maker would have been helpful.

This suite is clean and beautiful and feels like brand new. The patio is perfectly situated. Breakfast delivery was outstanding - delicious, variable and eco-friendly.

Dimitra was a wonderful host, gave quick and personal attention (coordination, transfers, breakfast delivery, etc), and made us feel very special! The location and suite are 10/10 - excellent view, private balcony, very accessible (especially compared to many other properties!), quiet, super convenient, and spacious. It was the perfect suite for our 5 days. We were extremely pleased.

We just spent 1 week in this cosy nest and we would like to thank Dimitra and her mother for their attention during our stay. The flat is very well located in Firostefani / Thira. You could park a car easily and the location is perfect to visit all Santorini. There is a mini market at 10 meters and a lot of restaurants around. The view from the flat and the terrace on the Caldeira is incredible almost for sunsets 🌅 The flat decoration has been done with a very good taste and everything has been done to feel at home. We recommend warmly the location, the flat and our hosts ! We will be very happy to come back here!

Beautiful location with amazing views. Close to all amenities. Super hosts, who answered every message immediately and welcomed us so kindly. Loved the homemade Greek treats. Everything as pictured, and even better. Was so glad we stayed here and not in crowded Firo or Oia.

There was nothing we did not like.

The accomodation was excellent. The suite was clean and the decoration very pleasant. The view from all the windows and balcony was phenomenal!!! The perfect place to enjoy what Santorini has to offer. The location was also great, close to shops, restaurants and mini markets. The owners, Maria and Dimitra, were also very helpful and pleasant. A true Greek hospitality, we even got a home baked cake from Maria for our kids!!!

It's a great, clean and well equipped flat. There's a nice balcony with great sea views. Vacay suites are also well-situated: only about 10 min walk to Fira centre and you can also go the other way to Imerovigli or hike to Oia. We rented a car and there's a free public car park just several min away. The hostess was incredibly friendly and helpful. Fully recommend

Nothing about the property as such. Just one suggestion for ease of identification - a name plate can be put at the main gate to identify the property. We depended on google maps to reach but had difficulty in spotting the apartment.

Excellent location. It is bang on main road and hence one doesn't have to deal with steep steps which at times can be very difficult to manage with luggage. Spacious room with a good sitout area with Caldera view.

Everything was great. We had a cloudy day ,although the view was still really nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Really nice and comfortable apartment with caldera view. We really loved the caldera view right from our BED. The location is grate ,close to everything. Dimitra was very friendly and supportive ,willing to help us with all our questions and suggest us all the hot spots and attractions of the island.

Everything was great, even if you didn't have breakfast, the welcome basket was enough.

Very nice new apartment with caldera view. Nice decorated. It was really close to public parking(2min walk), restaurants and cafe, and possitive was that we we didn't have to walk down steps because its on the main path. Many thanks for the welcome basket complimentary. Thanks especially Mrs Maria for the homemade cake.

It’s difficult to carry luggages, no help, so for those who have big luggages will feel a burden. The apartment itself has 2 level, stair is narrow so it’s also difficult to carry a large luggage.

It’s a typical apartment style around the area. It’s spacious, 2 level, with own terrace overlooking the caldera. Location is convenient, many restaurants nearby

We didn’t have a private balcony which isn’t obvious when booking. Neither the write up or the photos indicate it isn’t private other than below in the FAQs which I didn’t read until later. So I found the write up and photo deceiving and was disappointed when I arrived to find out the balcony was shared - not only shared but the people we shared with smoked pot which really took away from the vibe I was hoping for. To pay such a high price for the view and hopes of relaxing on a private balcony - the reality was so disappointing. So even though it was a great location , I would not recommend it given the price and lack of transparency about the balcony .

The place was very clean and had great views of the caldera.
