We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaNot that it could have been better, but there's no kitchen at the restaurant. Breakfast is a cold food continental buffet. The star ranking and the cost both a little high for the facilities.
The staff was great. Helpful. The lobby area was lovely, comfortable, with free sodas and water and snacks. The bed and the room were very comfortable.

United KingdomThe only down were the location of the plugs. You have plugs only by the bed and there is no mirror around. I found it very difficult to arrange my hair as I was going to an event.
The hotel is really nice, the location is superb. The hotel offers a nice breakfast and hot coffee, water and some other nibbles through the day, which is really nice. The staff was really nice too.

Special mention of the manager, Nikos. He was most helpful and rang me to inform me that I left something behind in the room. Also attentive and good demeanor. The breakfast was good and the "Easy Corner" during the day with drinks and small bites was a very nice touch

they upgraded us to The New Hotel. about it: the location is very good. Staff is amazing. rooms are very stylish and comfortable. bed is very comfortable. terrace is amazing and watching the sunset was perfect experience. but previously I stayed at periscope and I would give the same rankings for periscope. the rooms are smaller but comfortable and clean. and the staff there was also very helpful. The New Hotel has an amazing view which Periscope doesn't have.

TurkeyThe lower floor rooms are a little bit noisy at night time since there are some bars and restaurants on the same street, but not very critical, we had good sleep anyway.
All the staff at Periscope Hotel were very friendly and very helpful. They really made us feel like at home. The location of the hotel was just perfect, very easy to walk around and come back to hotel several times a day. We love Athens and visit very frequently and after this trip we will definitely stay at Periscope again.

RussiaThe water was going around the whole bathroom because the door can not be closed when you are in the douche cabin. After the heavy rain there were stains on the floor in the bathroom but personnel solved the problem. The guy at the reception could not give good advice of the restaurants (my own investigation suited better), taxis and other things, while the ladies were excellent. It was not comfortable to ask receptionist every time for coffee or hot water and control if it was done right. I suggest to place it in the rooms. It was noisy in the evening because gypcies dance and sing very loudly around the street.
I liked very much the hotel design in grey-blue colours. Great location. Non limited water downstairs and snacks any time of the day. The room was done and cleaned exactly as I asked. On the heavy rainy day I was provided with additional umbrella when umbrellas finished. The hotel collected my parcel and let me know just in time.
