Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe road at the front is quite busy, but we never heard it, and slept well the whole time.
THE MOST AMAZING FOOD!!! We had planned to eat out for dinner as it’s bed & breakfast, but the chef Manos is SO INCREDIBLY TALENTED we had to work our way through the menu!!! Every meal was a show-stopper!! Our room was gorgeous, love all the little touches where thought and care has been taken. Excellent shower with options of overhead & handheld. Everything is kept very clean by the lovely Lila! She always managed to come without any disturbance at all, so considerate and well planned. What the owners Argiris & Christina have created here is truly a unique and precious thing. Take their advice on where to visit, especially the walk to Oia which was breathtaking. We had a hire car but it would’ve been quite easy to get around without it. Huge thanks to the whole MOD Team…especially Manos The Great! 💚

MOD is incredibly well decorated and spotlessly clean throughout. The decor is modern but in keeping with the location and feels cosy and comfortable, but still luxurious. The dining area is outdoors on the patio where herbs used by the chef and local flora grow. Our view was incredible and we managed to catch the sunrise over the ocean a few times during our stay which was beautiful! Our room had lots of natural light and optimum space for both of us. There was good storage for clothing and luggage, a vanity space to get ready each day (with lights!) and the amazing housekeeper replenished towels and bathrobes daily as well as fresh water and coffee pods. Hairdryers are also provided in your room. Having a nice space in our room and outdoors on our balcony to dine/have a coffee was lovely and meant we had somewhere extra to sit/eat/read etc. The real unique selling point of MOD for us was a vegan hotel with a 100% vegan chef and the food we enjoyed really did make our stay that extra bit more special. We celebrated a birthday and the owner and chef went above and beyond to ensure that my partner had a cake of his choosing made to order. It was one of the best vegan cakes we’ve ever had! Breakfast each morning was an absolute dream and portion sizes are appetising! We found that we skipped lunch most days as we had such a great breakfast. Definitely eat here for dinner if you decide to stay - we have since tried to replicate meals like what we had at MOD at home!

RomaniaChristina made all the preparations to ensure we have a wonderful stay. The room was perfect, clean, comfortable and had everything you could need. The vegan breakfast prepared by Marialena was delicious and was different every morning - great variety! Argyris was always available to drive us around the island and took us on a fantastic guided tour of the South of Santorini, which included an amazing sunset from a really cool viewpoint.

United Statesthe property owners a very kind and take pride in their business, so every detail you could imagine has been seen to. the location is perfect as well. it’s just a few minutes from the town square without being right in the middle of everything, which means you can actually relax here. the daily breakfast is not to be missed.

Great vegan hotel, with lovely vegan breakfast options. Place was beautiful and meticulously done up. The room was lovely and spacious. Snacks bar and fridge were filled with all vegan items. Christina and Argyis were super great host, made us felt welcome and even help baked a vegan cake for my birthday!!! Wished we had more time and took the tour with Argyis. Definitely recommend this place and will be back next time again.

TaiwanThe view is not the typical Santorini postcard view of the Caldera but the view is just as charming and the location was more peaceful.
We loved our stay here. It’s just like in the photos, the hotel is beautiful! We woke up to see the sunrise over the ocean from our bedroom window and balcony. There is attention to detail. The bed is very comfortable, the windows are double glazed, the shower is perfect and spa is private which is quite rare on Santorini. We enjoyed our breakfast delivered to our balcony each morning and as vegans, it was so nice to be able to order anything from the menu. We liked the location, it’s only a couple of minutes to walk to the Main Street. Christina and Anargyros were wonderful and warm hosts who helped us arrange so many things from a sailing trip, to hiring a car and gave recommendations including how to find a secluded, secret beach. We were lucky enough to come on the Easter weekend and Christina invited us to join the Easter feast where we met many like-minded people and tried various home made vegan Greek dishes!
