The AC cooling could be better. We turned it up all high but still the bedroom area would not cool up to our expectations. Also, the could to better with the breakfast. It was not value for money and the presentation could be better.

The property was at the perfect location, it was clean and comfortable and exactly as shown in the pictures.

The breakfast. The variety was minimal and it arrived daily in cardboard boxes. All the villas next door had their breakfasts laid out on trays with what appeared to be a wide selection. This was what I expected (since I had stayed in a similar property before) but was disappointed. It was also late on a couple of mornings. Unfortunately, the breakfast alone, for the price we paid means we will not be back.

We loved the location, the two hot tubs (one inside and one outside). Both were kept at suitable temperatures. The bed was comfortable and the place had a good amount of sockets/plugs. The kitchen had a decent amount of crockery and bathroom though small waa beautiful. The whole place was gobsmackingly beautiful. With the excellent location, we were able to get up early before the crowds and walk all over Oia. The staff were also great. The young lady met us at the drop off and gave us lots of helpful information.

Our experience was fantastic in every detail. Our host Maria helped us book our transfer to Oia and for our surprise we had Eleni and a kind man waiting for us when we get there to help us with our bags and guide us until our room. First view you get when you are going down in the stairs is breathtaking, and then when we finally got to the room we thought we want to stay here forever. Eleni was always so ready to support us with recommendations of restaurants, reservations for tours and all. We will definitely come back and stay here again in our next time in Greece

The property was the place of my dreams- the view, the indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, the blue tiled bathroom. But the service we had from Eleni and Maria was exceptional. Anything we needed- taxis, restaurant recommendations, Eleni stayed in touch via WhatsApp and helped. And we could choose breakfast everyday and it was delivered to our room! They really went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

this should be depending on the guests - but for us, having a jacuzzi inside the hotel room was a no. the smell of Chlorine and the moisture were uncomfortable.

great location right in the heart of Oia (which we felt was a huge advantage - it's boiling hot out in the streets in August), with a great view of both the picturesque white houses and the ocean, great catered breakfast served to your door. Eleni was always on top of things and instantly responding.

The stay was perfect. The only thing I'd say could've been better is the temperature of the outdoor jacuzzi. It was lukewarm at best. During the day it's fine but if you want to use it at night, it might be an issue

I have never given any place a 10 rating but Blue canaves deserves nothing less. It was perfect! We were greeted at the taxi drop off point by Eleni who took us to the property, showing us how to navigate the village. She explained everything about the apartment, location and what to do during the stay. She booked tours, taxis and breakfast. Communication was superb. The views from the room are exquisite. It's near a famous picture point but you can view all that from your room. Mind you this hotel does not have the sunset view, nevertheless the views are amazing.

The electricity does go out on the island and it did go out once for us. The hot tub temperature are Luke warm at best. You have to switch a button to prepare hot water if you want a hot shower.

The villa was throughly cleaned everyday with water supplied fresh every day breakfast provided each morning on time everyday delivered to your door by local catering company to eat over the amazing views.

Everything was just perfect! the room is located in the middle of Oia but on a quite and private alley. The view over caldera is amazing and the pools outside and inside the room are fantastic The breakfast is more than enough with multiple choices and not the same everyday. We had the dinner included in the price, with good food options but we'd prefer to experience the restaurants Oia, there are some fantastic options for fine dinning just few steps from this location. Catherine, the host, was amazing, at any moment at our disposal to help us with recommendations and advices. She recommended us an amazing place on Vlychada beach and made the reservation for us. Timo is an exceptional person as well, he helped us with the luggage and didn't hesitated to help us with translation in a difficult moment for us. Overall, it's an amazing place at a good price comparing with the others in the same location, very good conditions, very clean, the host extremely attentive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Minimal outdoor seating and privacy. Indoor hot tub was tepid temperature, impractical seating indoors with no table/chairs for eating. Large coffee table included indoors however.

Views are stunning, unbeatable. TV & selection of channels was good, good aircon, nice bedroom, good amount of indoor space, kitchen facilities were good, delicious food and breakfast delivered daily at 9am, coffee machine replenished daily. Wonderful host who was on call 24/7 to help arrange activities and make bookings on our behalf. Helped with baggage up and down the Oia steps which was a life saver!

Everything was perfect! Our host Catherine made sure everything was arranged for us, taxis, restaurant reservations, island tours… everything! She even helped us when we were no longer staying with her! Her attentiveness really made our stay here so much more enjoyable. The villa itself is gorgeous and it offers great caldera views and it is only 2 minutes off of the main street in Oia. The layout and inside of the villa are really cool and it seems uniquely Oia. Overall we had an amazing experience and our only regret is that we did not stay longer than 2 nights 😊. If we ever come back to Oia, we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

Where do I even begin with our series of disappointments. My partner and I were really excited to stay at this luxurious boutique villa overlooking the caldera. Having paid almost £600/ night for 3 nights, we thought we would be pampered and how. However , the experience was quite the opposite- 1. the breakfast - extremely poor quality packed food (£10 packed meal with no options and substandard food. other villas has butler service with choice of exotic fruits, veggies. here you get some scrambled eggs,or sad granola with green yogurt with 4 cut pieces of pear) , one croissant and one glass orange juice. No fresh coffee/tea. Definitely not breakfast of champions. We ended up spending 100£ + for our breakfast from the next door cafe. I was appalled to see the quality and quantity of breakfast because Greece offers such amazing breakfast options and Greek food overall has been outstanding at any of the restaurants n bars. 2. location - the location is underwhelming. While it is centrally located and “offers views of caldera”, mind you, the view is from an angle. Very clever marketing. 3. Pool- the pool is a scam too. it’s a jacuzzi without heated water so one can’t use it in evenings. the size is laughable (2 audits can barely fit in) and other places offer far more fancier plunge pools. 4. Jacuzzi inside the room- we didn’t use it but the room constantly had a whiff of chlorine.Very unpleasant smell. 5. Transport - we thought spending £1700+ for 3 nights meant luxurious pick up and drop. Instead a mini bus was sent to us at extra charge. No premium experience. No bottled water during the 30 min journey, or snacks. I feel the host really skimmed on extras and went to offer “bare minimum” 7. Poor air con- The AC was as good as non existent . Even at 18C, the room was barely cool. 6. Poor overall service - I really hope the host Maria takes this review in spirit and becomes a bit generous with guests.

The only 2 redeeming aspects of the property - - location (pretty central to all cafés restaurants and main square, though the views are corner view of the caldera and there are properties with better views) - the concierge service operated by Eleni . She was a total sweetheart, very prompt, gave good restaurant recommendations and made reservations on our behalf. I have given 4 stars only for her.
