Avanti Hotel is beautiful. The staff were so friendly and very helpful. The pool area was lovely and the views were fantastic. Definitely staying there again.

When I arrived at the port, the owner of the hotel (Margarita) was waiting outside with a sign to the hotel. It was unexpected and super convenient - made the arrival wonderful!

There was nothing to dislike!

Gorgeous view, lovely room with beautiful view, quiet. Loved everything! Margarite was so helpful. Provided a ride to the property from the ferry and back.

Although there was nothing wrong with the hotel at all in terms of facilities, it didn't have much atmosphere. The staff were polite and helpful if needed but kept very much in the background. Not the usual overflowing Greek hospitality I'm used to. It's up a steep slope and the route back at night is quite dark and the surroundings a little desolate. It didn't feel unsafe, but I was glad not to be on my own. It wouldn't suit people with walking difficulties. The area is still being developed and will probably change over time.

Smart, modern hotel with everything in very good condition, five minutes walk to restaurants, bars etc. It's on the other side of the main road in Chora, the only village on the island, so not too noisy at night, although we could still hear partying going on in the distance until the early hours. The price was reasonable. The pool looked nice but we didn't use it as it was September and it was very windy.

Loved our stay at Avanti. Had 2 rooms booked for family which were beside each other. Katerina at Reception was extremely helpful. Would definetly recommend.

Slightly limited choices at breakfast.

Lovely location in Chora. Good transport links for buses to beach. Beautiful accomodation. Book exchange , always brilliant for travellers. Hosts we're really helpful with pick up from ferry.

The walk to/from town is about a 10-15 minute walk down/up a steep hill, you also have to walk along the busy road and cars fly past because there’s no actual footpath, at night time I felt a little unsafe walking back there because it gets quite dark in some parts so I’d recommend getting a taxi

Couldn’t fault it.

Everything, location is great for the village and access to beaches. 5 min walk Room was great, perfect view of the village. Walking distance to Alma sunset view - highly recommend this. Owners are amazing, very helpful with pick up and drop off to port.

It can get quite windy by the hotel at times as the hotel is at a high point of the island, but it wouldn't put me off going again as we really enjoyed our stay.

We have just arrived home from our stay at Avanti. The hotel was lovely, and great value for the high standard of the hotel. The owners were so friendly and helpful, telling us all the details of the area on our drive from the port to the hotel. They let me use the laundry room to iron my clothes and If you contact them before arriving they will pick you up from the port and take you back when you leave. The pool area was lovely and really nice to chill for the day. Not to mention the view from the hotel which was gorgeous. It was really close to the main square and restaurants/bars and you could catch a short bus ride to Mylopotas Beach and the port anytime until midnight. The islands bus service was great!

I loved the property - not a dislike but a heads up that the hotel is on a hill for those who are wishing to walk instead of catching a cab or renting a car/ATV.

Beautiful property and super comfortable. The team were so lovely and very helpful for any questions we had. Also had a beautiful view of the town and the breakfast that was included in our stay was delicious.
