The many steps to our room (although we knew about this when we booked our room). We originally booked the Phoebe Suite, but when we discovered there were somewhere around 100 steps, we changed our booking to the Venus Suite - only about 40 steps to the main walkway. So pleased we did this.

The outlook from our room was amazing. The room itself was good, the breakfast was great and the staff were exceptional. A big thank you to Georgina and her wonderful little team - so friendly and helpful. But the view....THE VIEW!

The owner sets up a high standard to please his customers. Toiletries are bar none. Ferry terminal is only 5 minutes by car. One can walk to the Old Port in 12 minutes. Local restaurants are more superior than all the tourist traps at the Old Port. Perfect location to watch sunsets

Your central location means there will be music playing from around 10am till 11:30pm. Do not book if looking for a quiet location. It didn't worth us as we were awake during these hours.

You can not get a more central apartment with a stunning view! Breakfast on the balcony every morning, watching the sunset from the hoy tub every evening... bliss.

The towels were not dried thoroughly when washed. It had a smell of “dampness” when being used so it was not a pleasant aroma from the towels. Finding the exact location of the entrance and where the reception location are not obvious so took some time to look for them to be found with lugging suitcases around. This should have been communicated in email and described precisely on how to get to the entrance/reception location , also what to do while the reception is closed between 2pm to 6pm. ( not always guests have cell phone traveling from overseas, perhaps didn’t get a chance to get the local SIM card yet)

The location (view) of course, the friendly staffs and the breakfast on the balcony.

Only a very minor point, but I thought we'd have a private sunbathing area, but was open plan next to neighbours/. I'd call that semi-private, but enjoyable all the same.

It was a room with a view, absolutely fantastic. The staff were very helpful and friendly, always had a smile and were very helpful. The location was spot on right in the heart of Fira, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet and the amazing views.

We stayed in the la Luna suite which appeared to be the highest one. It was an arms length from this open air cafe that could look over at us on our balcony. This was the biggest negative of the suite as anyone there could just look over at us eating or in the hot tub. Even a make shift privacy divider would’ve helped. Also check in is at 3 but they close reception from 3-6? Which doesn’t make since to me so when we arrived at 430 from our tour no one was there. Our tour guide was able to call the number and the suite had been left open for us which was good. Also this is the only place that gave us champagne for our honeymoon which was really appreciated!

Breakfast was good and arrived on time. The location was good though privacy was a concern. The view and hot tub were amazing as well as the size of the room as it was the biggest one we had the whole visit! They weren’t offering candlelight dinners as advertised which was a bit disappointing but there were a lot of close restaurants!

Our villa was placed between 2 restaurants so we could hear music from both sides which we could hear outside as well as inside.

Great view, we had the most amazing sunsets from our balcony. Great location, very central therefore on average 20-30 mins to all other parts of the island. Breakfast was served on our balcony and it was a great breakfast with a lot of options. Very friendly staff and willing to help. Room was clean and spacious. Had a good aircon and hot tub.

The towels for the shower tend to smell humidity The rooftop bar above the hotel is really cool but one night they put the music very loud, we could hear it too much even in the bedroom, something to discuss with the bar itself probably but the other night it was quieter so maybe they were told off.

The view is simply stunning ! Our room was perfect as you get 360 view over the sea and the sunet, plus you have a private balcony with sunbeds and hot-tub that is not under a roof so you can really enjoy the view, however you dont have full privacy. The staff was very friendly as well and welcoming! The shower was also super nice, facing the window with the sea and the bedroom/bed was very nice, cosy, in the cave. The breakfast on our terrasse was really good. Everything with this view was so unique. We recommend for sure and we would come back !

The views were even more amazing than the pictures, and we had a perfect view of sunset every night. The location was perfect and central, and the hosts brought breakfast to our room every morning customized to our liking. Top service. The hosts were helpful in organizing transport and making recommendations for reliable vendors around the island.

Everything was IMMACULATE!!!! Most of the time when you view properties online, they look nothing like the photos but Asteras Villas was an exact REPLICA! SO VERY PLEASED! Top Notch Service from Staff. The guy that assisted with our Luggage was UNBELIEVABLY STRONG 💪 We will definitely stay again and have already recommended this property to our close friends!!!!

Stairs are no joke to get there! They are steep and narrow, difficult to traverse with luggage. Host helped us with luggage on our way out but was not there on arrival unfortunately.

Stunning views, loved the private clean hot tub. Host is so friendly and helpful, amazing hospitality. Amazing breakfast delivered to your room, he coordinated taxis for us, and even did a small load of laundry for us for free. Highly recommend this stay.

Stairs were a challenge at times and breakfast was often cold.

The views and staff were perfect. The jacuzzi was a nice touch since there was no pool. Reedi was extremely helpful and friendly, going out his way to do whatever he could for us.

Everything from start to finish was fabulous! Amazing value for money and such a lovely trip for myself and my partner. Would 100% recommend to anyone! We were nervous about the steps to the phoebe suite, but they were more than ok and Carlos helped carry our luggage. Also the Phoebe suite was very private and not overlooked which was a plus. We will definitely be back, thank you for a wonderful trip!

The view from the room s absolutely amazing. So, the La Luna Suite is on the top most and venus suite is second from the top. To get to Venus suite there are about 55 steps down (note: for almost all the hotels in Santorini cllff side, there are steps). In my opinion Venus suite is more preferred because it has a breathtaking view and there's not much noise from the bar/lounge nearby (as mentioned by few guests). The hotel is very convenient and well-connected to the Fira main square. Staff is amazing and they help you to carry the luggage to the room. Breakfast is prepared as per your choices and served in the room.
