Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Large bedroom and balcony. Bathroom was bigger than most others we had in our 4 weeks in Greece. We were upgraded to a suite which was nice. Even though furnishings are older. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Pictures on website are what the rooms are like. They let us leave our suitcases after checking out until the afternoon when we picked them up to go to the airport.

United KingdomThe rooms were large. Our two bedroomed apartment was spacious and it had a separate lounge and kitchen. The staff were very helpful and the fact that the reception is open 24hrs meant that there was no problem getting into the hotel and the room after midnight from delayed flights from the UK. The metro station is 10 minutes away. It is modern and clean and two stops into the centre. The same line links Piraeus and the airport.

The room was really great with enough space for whole family. The bed was really similar to what we have in our flat, because we slept well. The furniture was older, but still ok for us. I think this is usual standard in Greece as we were in many Greece's hotels. The location is great, only 5 minutes from Metro station, there are really great restaurant next to hotel in the square opposite to hotel. We had better food in those restaurants like we had in Plaka near Acropolis.

We booked this apartment for our last night before heading to the airport, and it exceeded our expectations. It comfortably accommodated our family and provided everything we needed for a relaxing holiday stay. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, adorned with crisp white sheets reminiscent of those found in hotels. Overall, it offered excellent value for money.
