Rooms were very very small which I understand is common in Europe. But there was no place to open and store our cases.

I loved this location! First time to Santorini so wasn’t sure if I should stay in Oia but I’m so glad we didn’t! This location was perfect and the staff was friendly and helpful!

Everything was perfect. We have nothing to complain about at Sunset Hotel. Perhaps the only suggestion would be to have a bit more variety in the breakfast menu, as it was the same every day, but this is a minor detail.

Our stay at Sunset Hotel was perfect. The location couldn't be better. It's away from the noise of Thira, but close enough to walk. The sunset from the hotel is the best you can find anywhere, allowing us to enjoy it with a glass of wine without having to reserve a table at one of the more expensive caldera-view restaurants, where the food isn't the best. Truly perfect. If we return to Santorini, we'll definitely stay at Sunset Hotel again

While the breakfast was substantial and yummy, it was the same every day. It would be nice to have a couple of different options. There was also a couple of nights where people sat outside on the chairs in front of my room talking and playing music until the early morning, I’m not sure if this was other guests or staff. As the rooms don’t have windows that close properly it was hard to shut out any noise.

The views from this hotel are second to none - I explored a lot of the island and this was by far the best view to wake up to every morning. The location is also great as it’s a little less busy in this area but still easy to walk down to Fira into the hustle and bustle. Lots of great places to eat near the hotel and the room itself was lovely and clean and had everything I needed.

We asked for the hotel reception to arrange a transfer to the airport for us on our last day; however, the transfer service arrived over half an hour late and was booked under an incorrect name which resulted in confusion from the driver as to who he was picking up. This was all resolved after some time but led to some stress and frustration as we were trying to catch our flight. Make sure to confirm with reception that transportation arrangements are done correctly and give yourself plenty of time.

The view, breakfast, room and staff were wonderful. The space is great for relaxing and watching the sunset. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. They were also great for providing recommendations and facilitating booking of activities for us. We had a near perfect stay and found the staff to be extremely helpful. The location is great as it is private and quiet yet a short walk to the main sights in Fira and restaurants. We would recommend this place!

The 180+ degrees views here could not be better. All rooms face sunset. It’s better views than I’ve ever had in my life. They had a “hot” tub that was cooler to sit in - so wonderful after a hot day of touring. Breakfast was brought to your personal cute outside table. Eggs, sausage, breads, cakes, yogurt, apples, panini ham and cheese sandwich. Cushy outdoor seating too to sit in for sunset (or whenever). We LOVED this place. Fira is where you want to be. The hotel rooms go down the side of the hill with no foot traffic right next to you (like in Oia). It is a 2 minute walk to the central square where you go to meet taxis and tour busses. On top of it all, I left a very nice necklace behind and staff made sure I got it back.

Our ceiling-mounted shower head was not working; only the hand-held shower head functioned. I mentioned this issue to a staff member. She attempted to fix it but was unsuccessful. She assured me that her staff would address the problem in the morning, but it was never resolved. Additionally, during sunset, a family allowed their son (approximately 10-12 years old) to stay in the hot tub for an extended period. While this was not an issue, for me, the child was extremely loud. I wish the nearby staff member had asked the father to quiet the child down. When I tried to signal to the father by saying "shhh," he responded with a dirty look and began talking loudly across the facility to his son.

The breakfast, sunset, location, and cleanliness of the facility were exceptional.

Finding the hotel in the beginning. It is located or hidden behind another hotel (Hotel Mylos, if I remember correctly). You need to go down one more flight, so be very careful. If a curtain could be fitted in the shower in order not to spill water in the bathroom floor especially when using the rain shower head.

True to its description, all rooms are gifted with a magnificent and uninterrupted view of the caldera and the sunset view every night of your stay❤️ The two staff, Maria and my sincere apology I forgot the name of the other one, were so polite and nice serving breakfast and maintaining the room … the room smells so good👍🏻The plated breakfast was good and enough. Coffee refill is available.
