The best part was the awesome caldera view. The property has an unblocked view and there were few occupants nearby, so we had the whole view to ourselves with little disturbance. The property was beautiful, well-kept, cozy and our host, Maroulia, was so friendly and welcoming. She went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable and stocked up so much food and snacks in the pantry and fridge. There was great communications with her leading up to our arrival and she was there at the property waiting for us when we arrive after a tiring 11-hour international flight and one domestic transfer. Her generosity and graciousness were really beyond our expectations and coupled with the fantastic property with the unmatched view of the caldera, this property was indeed great value for money and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others who will like to experience Santorini away from the tourist crowds and enjoy some quality quiet time to recharge and revel in nature.

This was the best holiday my boyfriend and I have ever been on. I can’t imagine there being a better view on the island. The sunsets were amazing and it was so calming and peaceful away from the busier areas. Our hosts were amazing and sorted everything out for us. Thank you, we’ll be back!

Everything: location & view - difficult to imagine anything better including sunset (much better than in Oia), moreover Akrotiri is such a peaceful village without crowds, facilities - spotlessly clean & equipped with everything you may need (including iron), cleaned every day, host - very nice & responsive, helping with airport transfers and recommendations for restaurants.

There wasn't anything to complain about except that we had to come home!

Breakfast items were very generous, our host Marialena was so thoughtful in providing everything we might want for breakfast, snacks and even lunch. Lucious local strawberries and cherry tomatoes were an unexpected treat. Marialena was available by phone to answer any questions we had about this charming villa with unbelievably stunning views of the Santorini caldera from lounge chairs on the deck and the hot tub outside. She did everything she could to insure that we had a pleasant and enjoyable stay, gave us some excellent local restaurant recommendations and information. The villa is convenient to the Akrotiri Ruins, the wineries for touring, Red Beach and Black Beaches, and other places and villages of interest. We couldn't have asked for a better experience at the Akrotiri Cove villa. Super host! We can't thank you enough for making our anniversary stay so special and perfect.

It was an amazing spot for stargazing but the automatic lights at night made it a bit harder to see the sky in all its glory - so if there was an easy way to turn off the lights manually for things like that it would've been great but we do understand they're needed for safety reasons. It would have also been nice to be able to control the hot tub temperature too as it could have been maybe 2 or 3 degrees warmer on chillier nights and we would've definitely used it more in the heat of the day if we could use it as a cooler plunge pool - but again understand that it is first a foremost a hot tub and we didn't want to mess with the controls so it may well have been easy to do all of the above! Lastly there could have been some slightly softer lighting inside - the lamps and main lights in the rooms were quite bright and a little mood lighting in the evening goes a long way - even if we just had one or two more candles it would have been amazing! All of the above is definitely just nitpicking however as those things didn't at all stop us from having a wonderful experience.

The views across the Caldera were absolutely breathtaking to wake up to every day, and having a hot tub was really lovely when it got slightly chillier in the evenings after a long day of lots of walking! The villa was perfectly situated about 5/10 mins walk from the Akrotiri village centre where there are cute breakfast spots and nice restaurants (Akrothiri and Misteli were our favourite!) - so enough amenities close by but it felt far enough away from the busier areas of the island to feel like a proper private escape. Our host Maroulia was amazing and helped us with transport most days (Uber does exist but much easier to get them from the bigger towns). She also recommended a sunset cruise for our penultimate day which was an unforgettable experience, and really went out of her way to make sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay even going as far as to send an iPhone charger out to us (although we later discovered the shop in the village had plenty of these)! There was also daily cleaning which was great but also flexible as we could just message Maroulia if we wanted a lie in when we had later nights than expected. Overall we just loved every second of our stay and would highly recommend it for any couple looking to visit Santorini.

The breakfast is a help yourself but i think maybe it could be split into two deliveries over the 9 nights we stayed as there was just too much to start with and the fresh produce started to perish. Minor niggle though. Definitely not a game changer.

Maroulia and Alina were exceptional host and cleaner. Always on hand when needed and the property was kept spotless. The privacy is second to none and the views to die for! I shouldn't be saying all this as i'd like to go again and it will probably be in high demand. Contrary to what everyone else seems to do, ie racing all over the island trying to see everything that's already on instagram! We just stayed in Akrotiri all week looking at the views. We did do a catamaran trip though, arranged by Maroulia and it was excellent.

The property has one of the best views. You can see the mountains, sea, sky, beaches from your room, kitchen and jacuzzi. It is a must visit if you are specially on your honeymoon/first time to Santorini as Maurilia will take care of everything. She is the best host as she will arrange more than required for your breakfast, enjoyment. She is always available whenever you have any doubts related to roaming about in Santorini, booking taxi, cruise and all that you need to ask. She was humble enough to also increase our check out time from 12 PM to 3 pm as our flight was in evening. The cleaner Mira is also of huge help. Everytime you go from the messed up home, you come back to a clean comfortable space.

Everything was perfect

The villa was equipped with every comfort and located on the cliff with stunning views on the caldera. The place is truly incredible and the location, far from the most chaotic cities, puts this accommodation at a much higher level for those looking for a relaxing place. The privacy of the hot tub is also priceless. Daily and impeccable cleaning. Maroulia is extremely available for any request and made us find lots of fruit for breakfast as well as many other good things. The place is very close to Akrotiri village and the island's lighthouse.

Beautiful villa hanging on the edge of the cliff, overlooking the endless blue of the Aegean, offering breathtaking view, making your stay an unforgettable holiday experience. Quiet and cosy, Akrotiri Cove is located in a little village with restaurants and cafes and only 20 minutes away from Fira offering privacy and 5*services. The outside area is beautiful and unique. We spend our mornings enjoying breakfast and relaxing, overlooking the imposing caldera and the volcano bathed by the cobalt blue sea. I highly recommend to beat the crowds and just watch the sunset in the privacy of the outdoor jacuzzi. The hosts are friendly and helpful offering tips & tricks about the island making your stay extra special.

The accomodation is amazing, you have a stunning view on the sea and the support of maroulia is really fantastic. She gave us perfect recommendations for dinner, shopping and booked all our transfers. She is always available and supporting everything you are asking for. The accomodation is super calm and is cleaned perfectly every day. We spend one part of our honeymoon here and were overwhelmed of the view, the jacuzziand the furnishing of the appartment.

The property has a beautiful view of the caldera, but is in a far more secluded location compared to the tourist hotspots of Oia and Fira. Despite its more private location, there are very good restaurants within walking distance.
