My bunk bed was not really comfortable. It was old or broken, needed a change.

Location was perfect, very close to subway but you could also walk to some of touristic attractions,which was an advantage. Staff was very friendly. Room was good but I would prefer to have curtains with my bunk bed.

Just a couple of suggestions: Lockers that can fit a backpack and that don't require an own lock would be helpful. Curtains on the beds would be great for privacy. Bathroom doors were very loud to open and close.

Wonderful staff. I loved the cafe and the 24 hour reception and all round service. Bed was comfortable. I was in the all female dorm and the atmosphere was very relaxed, respectful and comfortable. Location is fantastic for an early Eurostar. It was great, that there was hand soap in the bathrooms.

The mattress and pillow were not comfortable and a curtain on the bed would be much better than an open bed.

The location is pretty good. The staff and service is great as well. The toilets were clean and the rooms were clean as well

Great location, right by St Pancras. Friendly staff. Nice common areas, with food and drink. Light, plug and usb charging right by the bed are very handy.

I often travel through London and have to stay the night before I can get the next train, so I've tried many hostels close to King's Cross/St Pancras. This really is the best hostel I've stayed at. Other hostels tend to give you the bare minimum, and I really like that Kabannas is making things more comfortable. • The rooms are relatively spacious (for a hostel), with quite a big window and plenty of storage space. There is no awkward "we tried to squeeze in as many bunk beds as possible into one tiny room" that you often see at other hostels. • The beds had their own outlets and a small light, so you're not being kept awake by the big light when other people are still up. • There were also signs in the hallways that there was a quiet time after 11 pm, and it was actually quiet after 11 pm, which I really appreciate. • There are common areas both downstairs and on the first floor, where you can eat your food and do other stuff, and I believe you can also buy drinks there. • In general, Kabannas had a really good atmosphere, there were lots of beautiful murals and overall everything looked nice, modern and clean. • The staff was friendly and helpful, too. • A big pro is also that it's only five minutes from the train station. This is definitely the hostel I'll stay at in the future when I'll be in London again.

I really wish bunks had curtains on the beds for privacy more often, but this is something that is more a wish than a not liking.

The staff was able to accommodate me finding me a bottom bunk. Check-in was fast and easy, and they have a a nice lounging area. The room was clean and while there was eight beds, there was space and the bathroom was clean as well.

If you opt for a room facing the main road, be prepared for constant noise throughout the day and night. Despite the double glazing to mitigate the noise, keeping the windows closed may result in poor ventilation, especially if the room is fully occupied. Additionally, there is a lack of self-catering facilities.

The location boasts excellent cleanliness and well-maintained facilities, complemented by a friendly staff.

The location of this hostel is amazing!!!! Have a lot of restaurants and Kings Cross station and St Pancras is close!

It was probably just bad luck, but the room intensely smelt of sweat throughout my entire stay – since the window couldn't be opened properly for safety reasons, it was impossible to get rid of the smell.

The café downstairs was fabulous; you could also stay there after checking out if you needed to. also, there's a drinking water dispenser down there.

There were no croissants at the breakfast buffet. When I mentioned this to the staff member in the morning at the check-in desk (a different staff member to the accommodating ones to the night before who checked me in) he said, “Sometimes we run out, and when we do that’s it.” There were croissants available at the cafe-bar area, but he refused to give me one saying, “You can either eat at the buffet or the bar, not both.” I thought this was harsh over one croissant, even though this was promised to me at the breakfast buffet in the morning.

Upon arrival, the convenience of Kabannas’ location immediately struck me. Nestled right across fromSt Pancras International station, it was a breeze to get there after my train journey. The hostel’s exterior was unassuming, but stepping inside, I was greeted by a warm, quiet atmosphere that promised a comfortable stay. The check-in process was smooth, with friendly staff who were quick to provide information about the hostel’s amenities. The staff member did all he could to make my stay as comfortable as possible, even allowing me to pick a top or bottom bunk preference. My room was clean. The bed was comfortable enough, and I had a good night’s sleep. The shower facilities were maintained to a high standard, a refreshing way to start the day. While the lack of a self-catering kitchen was noted, the cafe-bar on the premises offered a variety of meals and snacks that were both convenient and tasty. The pizza I ordered was cooked in a stone oven and tasted incredible. The breakfast the following morning was tasty.
