The mattress might not be to everyone's like, that's a very personal thing. But all linen clean and comfortable. Nothing else to say.

Very friendly helpful staff, interesting mix of purpose within the renovated old granary. Good to see an old building repurposed instead of flattened. Ground floor cafe/open space well used warm and welcoming, food good and reasonably priced. Only 10 mins walk from the railway station, easy access to coastal path and beaches very pleasant couple of days spent here

Nothing to complain. All great.

Attached washroom was awesome. The reception was great. Parking provided. Fully stocked Kitchen. Nearby supermarket. Loved reading about the history about the building. Lighthouse is just 4mins away, which is a great viewpoint, must visit during sunsets.

It's a little hard to find -- it shares a building with other things and is kind of tucked away. Kitchen and lounge are on the top floor and very separate from rooms.

Pretty nice place to stay! Right by the town walls so you have direct access to the water. Rooms and bathrooms were really spacious, staff very friendly.

No evening food offering. I understand they used to serve food in the evenings but not anymore. This is made clear on the website though and there are quite a few options close by.

Location, staff, cleanliness (liked it being a random meet up point for teenagers to watch TV etc in the evening- much better than silence! (And YHA doing what is says on the tin?)

Last time we stayed hikers left their muddy shoes on windows in corridors at night. Smelt awful as they dried.

Budget option which we've used many times. Gets booked up quickly and it's best to book well in advance. Clean and great option for lower budgets. Staff are friendly and attentive.

Excellent location in old town part of Berwick, within walking distance of everything. Nice room and good facilities with kitchen and laundry room available for use. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Have stayed previously and would definitely stay again.

The location was absolutely perfect for a visit to Berwick. The check in was easy, the reception area pleasant and welcoming. I liked the reading lights by each bed. The bedrooms and communal areas were well cared for.

From the arrival to the departure everything was wonderful. This was a well equipped comfortable, well designed space. The staff were super friendly. The facilities were spot-on. Films for the kids. Pool table too. No hesitation in recommending the YHA Berwick.

The shower. It felt like a shower at school from the 1980s. No shower head so flow was in a narrow stream and whilst I appreciate the flooring is practical it didn’t feel nice underfoot and it was wet as shower didn’t drain completely. It was hot though. Also not a fan of the plastic mattresses. Again, I know it’s practical but perhaps washable mattress protectors could improve this.

Location was excellent. Historical building. Excellent facilities - food, bar, café, local information, second hand books to buy, seating for dining and relaxing, outdoor seating.
