Great location for exploring a different part of Suffolk. Really enjoyed the stay

The sauna was far too hot. Unusable. No additional special menu on the Saturday night in the restaurant. Minor things which didn't spoil our stay.

How easy it was to access the restaurant, spa treatments with lovely relaxing areas included, and the pool with a jacuzzi and steam room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and close to amenities. Set in lovely grounds with a large car park. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

See above - and also, the range of beer was not very good (according to the men in the Group) and perhaps Guinness 00, or other zero Beers would give a better choice.

Breakfast and dinner were very good - but, because the dinner menu was the same every day, we felt we had to go elsewhere on some of the days. Perhaps 7 days of different menus would de better for those staying more than 1/2 days. If we had daily menu, we would have eaten there every evening. See above - and

The staff were not that helpful or kind. There were multiple stains in the carpet in our room. The breakfast was definitely not worth the money, it wasn't great at all.

The room was a great size, great facilities, activities, even though overpriced, were enjoyable. The swimming pool area was lovely.

We arrived at 2.45 to be told room wouldn't be ready till 3, so come back then. Had bags clothes on hangers etc. No one said you can wait in bar although they did offer to take bags for us. So we said we will wait in car. We wnt back at 5 past 3 to be given our room key.

Breakfast was good, plenty to choose from, didn't see any gluten free.

The tea and coffee in the room was a bit sparse, and it would have been nice to have a small drinks fridge for the milk I always carry with me.

Breakfast set up was good. The room was comfy with plenty of hot water and the bed was very comfy A nice break with a superb pub just down the road.

It all went well so nothing we didn't like. If I'm being picky it would have been nice to have had Sky sports in the clubhouse to be able to watch The Masters.

We had dinner one evening and that was good. Breakfast was also very good. Although we didn't play the golf course it gave the hotel a nice open feel, parking at the hotel was easy as they catered for golfers as well as hotel guests.

Very nice young staff doing their best but overstretched so longish waits on most things particularly food and drink. Nice facilities, well maintained caters mostly for older people and members, policies are a bit biased against younger people generally and children in particular don't seem very welcome - tolerated as guests but not encouraged. Better for middle aged and older couples than families and young adults which is a shame.

The bathroom was a disappointment. Shaving mirror very loose. Shower difficult to control direction of flow. Bath very narrow. Basin was a case of form over function! Mirrors steamed up as the extractor fan was ineffective

Children's swimming times! Not convenient if you are out all day visiting the area. You can't go early or late, so stuck with 10 until 4. Breakfast was very good, they just need another coffee machine. The queues were far too long, just to get a coffee.

Need another coffee machine at breakfast! Very concerned with staff having to manually refill the tea urn with boiling water. Changing facilities at pool outdated. Could do with more gluten free options on the supper menu.
