Maybe an earlier check in if possible as we’d been travelling since 2am

A warm welcome received and a very comfortable room. Meals at the hotel were beautiful, piping hot and they were very obliging when asked to tweak our order. Would 100% stay here again, the views are amazing.

Only thing but when mentioned the next say was informed. Room was a little cooler. Bit I didn't realise the was an additional heater. The beds for me are a little firmer than my normal. But I slept well.

The breakfast was to die for. Selection of hot food, porridge, toast, cereal yoghurt and fruit. Fresh tea coffee and an array of fresh fruit juice. Loved the location. Away from traffic. Stunning views. The staff were amazing especially the ladies that served food and at the reception. Thank you. 1st impressions do count. The room was amazing. Newly done out too. The evening meals are amazing. A nice selection to choose from. If you drink there is plenty to choose from gin, wine, cider and beers. There is a distiarly too.

    Nothing.

Breakfast was good, dinner was fantastic, nice cosy hotel in beautiful countryside. Husband and son done the distillery tour and made their own rum, would recommend both.

The tea and coffee in the room was low quality (very weak), we also expected more out of the breakfast.

Evening meal was exceptional. Bathroom was lovely and clean. Very comfortable bed and cosy room, we loved the colour palette and homely furniture. Beautiful views from bedroom and dining room.

The actual hotel is a quite 'tired' and 'old'. Our room was very cosy and the bed was tiny. When booking the room I should have upgraded to a bigger room and bigger bed. The room was so tiny the bedside tables had to be turned sideways to fit in. However, the room was exceptionally clean and tidy.

We loved the staff. We were welcomed very warmly by the lovely lady at the front desk. We also had a lovely time in the bar meeting other travellers. We also loved the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Service was really good and the food was delicious.

Lovely quiet room as requested. We could hear slight noise from the bar downstairs but nothing that bothered us as it closed at 11 so no disturbed sleep after our long journey. Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast and excellent customer service.

A good stop off near Glencoe, charming old bar.

No hot water in the evening so could not have a bath. In the morning it was a bit wamer but below what is acceptable for hot water. The restaurant was very dark and lacked ambiance, some candles on the tables would have been a nice touch. food was over priced and did not live up to 'fine dining' we enjoyed the food but £20 for fish and chips is steep and it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. The gin cured smoked salmon was delicious but the size of a canape not a starter. The venison was delicious but £29 for a not overly generous plate again a bit disappointing. The bar had a very average standard selection of whisky which was a shame.

Handy location near Glencoe. Loved the old traditional bar. Room was comfortable and staff friendly. The place has so much potentional but felt like it needed more love at the helm.

Breakfast was ok, nothing special, but it got us on our way into the stunning mountain-lined valley.

A comfy, reasonably priced room with a mountain view that we'd requested. That alone scores points with us. It's a quirky, neat old lochside hotel. It’s been here since at least the mid-18th century, but wears it well. The rooms, nicely sized, feature tall windows, gigantic armoires and updated bathrooms. We didn’t eat here, but the downstairs bar is cozy and very well stocked. Upstairs, it was quiet - we slept like babies.
