Only a bigger bed

The bed was comfortable although it would have been better if it had been a King size - evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast was excellent - looking forward to Sunday lunch when we return in May

Service in the evening a bit hit and miss - eg bringing us food with no cutlery then taking ages to bring that. Plates were not cleared up and were there the next morning!

Fabulous, fabulous, excellent value breakfast for us all. Very attentive waitress. Comfortable rooms, good pub food in the evening. Lovely garden.

Was annual meifest which we enjoyed immensely complete surprise as knew nothing about it when we booked room but although it finished around midnight the noise from pub below our room continued well past 2am. Breakfast was nice but not as advertised only 1 sausage no black pudding and a fried egg instead of 2 poached

A couple of minor repairs could of easily been done in the room to of made it perfect.

We had booked (we thought) to stay in the hotel itself but we’re given the pods on the campsite at the rear of the property. This was a Suprise but actually turned out well, it’s a very peaceful location.

Fabulous value for money! It was a wry affordable get away for a family of four. The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The breakfasts included in the price of the stay are excellent. We also ate our evening meal there one evening and had to look twice at the bill as the price felt like something hadn’t been added it was so good value! Also, the beds were very comfortable and the showers in the rooms are lovely and powerful.

Toilet seat was broken. We just removed it in the end as the bolts kept falling onto the toilet everything we used it. To be fair, when we reported it to the staff they offered to try to repair it but it wasn't too much of a bother.

We arrived expecting a room in the hotel and was told that we would be staying in Pod1. It was a nice surprise. Good little pod with comfy beds, a wonderful shower and a TV. The little deck outside was a nice place to sit with the family and we could use the pub WiFi out there. Parked the car next to the pod. Friendly staff in the pub and good large grass area for the kids to run wild on. Overall a nice place to stay.

Beautiful location, easy to find and secure parking space. Friendly and helpful staff. The only item that could be added to the room would be a small fridge .

Very hard bed. Shower base had a large crack. No hooks anywhere!! Could do with a fan in hot weather.

First room needed us to climb many stairs. Requested a lower floor and got a room we loved

Just a few little things: I had single occupancy in a double room, so I was surprised that in addition to the double bed, the sofa bed had also been made up. I'd have preferred the sofa as it was but too much effort to unmake it. Room was clean but inside window frames needed a good scrub (ideally repainting) to remove the black mould. Tea making facilities in the room but no spoons; I'm a fan of not throwing toilet roll away after each guest but I think when there are just three sheets left, perhaps put a new roll on...
