Karen and Steve are perfect hosts, the hotel is full of quirky things but tastefully done and so clean and fresh.we had room 6 which has front and side view windows. Sun rising over the castle was beautiful. Also the breakfast was lovely and the evening light bite was very good too.

I’d ask for a firmer pillow next time but only because I’m fussy my husband was fine with his pillows!

Steve and Karen have made The Headlands into a welcoming and comfortable place to escape! Our breakfast was delicious too We will definitely return to this lovely hotel. A fantastic last minute find I would recommend it to anyone

We were greeted by Steve and Karen and made to feel really welcome. We were also shown to our room which very rarely happen now. The room was recently upgraded, likewise with the bathroom with a great walk in rain shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good served by the lovely Angela. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Absolutely fantastic B&B! The hosts are amazing, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We had a few drinks in the hotel bar and it was so cozy that we didnt want to leave. The room we stayed in was lovely and the bed was very comfy. The breakfast menu has lots of choice but we opted for the full english and were not dissapointed! We will definitely be staying again and would recommend this fantastic place anyone. 🙂

There are no negative points apart from maybe extend evening snack meal from 6-7 to 8pm , but that's just an observation,( from another guests comments, )but not a criticism.

Breakfast high quality, great choice, plentiful. Lovely hosts, calm cosy home from home atmosphere. Great location on North side close to Peasholm Park.

We loved everything about this hotel. The location was excellent. In a quiet area but only a few minutes walk from Peasholm Park, the sea front and the open air theatre. Steve and Karen were very warm and friendly hosts. Our room was very comfortable and had a view of the sea and the castle. Breakfast was superb and the food in the bar in the evening was also excellent. We will definitely be returning

Excellent - this is how hotels should be run... friendly, helpful, super clean and with a personal touch. We loved the antiques /collectables on display. The owners are very friendly and we enjoyed a few drinks in the bar before our night out. We have already booked a return visit. Great location near the Scarborough Open Air Theatre.

Lovely hotel in good location. Parking available on site and plenty of free onstreet parking straight opposite the hotel too. Great breakfast, good quality local produce. Nice relaxing bar. Hosts Steve and Karen very friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nothing. Everything was amazing and far better than we’d expected.

We had a great Welcome from Steve & Karen, who could not have done more for us during our stay. Shown to our lovely modernised bedroom(overlooking the North Bay), with recently installed large fantastic shower room. ‘Whatever you want’ breakfast, for all dietary needs, in smashing dining room. Spacious lounge bar with evening bar meals. Perfect location for the beach, the Sea Life Centre, the Promenade, and access to the South Bay. The Hotel was set in a peaceful area looking on to grass, trees, over to the Bay & the Castle. I’ve never ever stayed in such a brilliant Hotel in Scarborough. Steve & Karen should be very proud of what they’ve achieved, and who they are. It was a joy to be there & with them. I’m really looking forward to coming back again & again(!), and have already discussed with Steve possible dates for next year.

Cannot find fault with this hotel - small, friendly, helpful and close to all amenities in the North Bay of Scarborough.

Has car park but only room for 4 cars although roads around the hotel are wide and quiet with no parking restrictions but would have preferred to be in a designated car park

The breakfast was excellent, the hole Hotel was absolutely spotless. Hosts and staff very welcoming, the lounge and bar very comfy and pleasant for that evening drink with friends and fellow guests
