First room we were put in was tiny dark and over looking dirty parts of the building was moved to a better room but the hotel itself needs a bit of an up lift lobby and bar/lounge area is really nice but corridors and rooms are very worn and painted in bright colours that doesn’t match the rest of the hotel.

The grand hotel is a lovely hotel in the lounge and lobby but feel the rooms upstairs and areas were a little tired this was the same with the inside pool

Sadly real issues with cleanliness, swimming pool & dressing rooms need a lot of attention black grout & scummy, our bedroom had real issues with stained carpets a member of staff shampooed carpet for us no attention to detail . The lobby and rooms off it were very clean. But it's very dated I would check my room and ask for upgrade.

Location was brilliant & the staff were very attentive breakfast was really good , for this reason we would go back

The Website did not reflect that some of the service at the facilities were unavailable. Such as The Sauna And Steam Room. The Pool is available until 9.00pm Gym room is very small and Most equipment is Out Of Service.

Parking was a issue due to a wedding. Also wardrobe was pushed right up to bathroom door so was on half a doorway. Not great in the night if needed the bathroom. Overall great stay

Receptionist made the stay that bit better. Thank you Ivana, you certainly are a credit to the hotel

Our room classed as sea view but only restricted view to 3 ft because the bathroom had been constructed along other windows. Room smaller than expected, broken toilet roll holder, missing shelves in inbuilt bedroom furniture No Visitor Guide.of information in rooms Swimming pool itself good but a couple of degrees could be added to temperature. Dressing rooms particularly poor, small cramped dirty, no locker keys, Jacazzi looked as though it had not been used for sometime and was poorly barriered by a street barrier and red and wipe tape Outdoor swimming , filthy pool again and not usable Downstairs lounge excellent and comfortable Staff seemed too formal in the restaurant. Breakfast needs some rethinking. No range of coffees, sweeteners either. General needs to rethink what people today are looking for. Again, reception too formal and drawn out and lack of any information on facilities

Location but the garage parking is laughable. No control or security. Fifteen or so garage spaces anyone can drive in. Spaces taken up by boat and other hotel parafinalia. I paid for two nights but could not get a space on the second night, I complained and was refunded for the one

We had a leaking bathroom radiator and we complained to management and were assured it would be fixed. They just put down a towel! We were in a suite as well so disappointing. The whole hotel needs a revamp. The once stylish main dining room has been redecorated into a 1980’s vomit of colour like it was designed by Timmy Mallet. The once magnificent breakfast is now a shadow of its former self.

Location- staff- view- they take dogs

There was quite a bit of dust in our bathroom which made it feel a bit unclean. The swimming pool did let the place down, the changing rooms felt dirty with hair all over the floor. Some of the pool tiles are missing which lets the place down. But our daughter absolutely loved the pool! Maybe leave a squeegee mop in the changing rooms so you can clean the floors yourself.

The sea view from the hotel was amazing. We loved the breakfast which was fresh and nicely cooked. The lounge and bar area was in really good condition and loved the ambience. Our 7 year old loved it too.

The receptionist barked at me this morning when I checked out. I was not asked if we had an enjoyable stay. We only had one set of toiletries between two of us for a two night stay in the ensuite. The chairs on the balcony were dirty and unusable. The harsh lighting above the bed. The hotel interior and exterior felt tired and in need of refurbishment.

We liked the bar area with it's see view. The buffet breakfast had a large selection but I wouldn't pay £15 per head for it.

Really good, but really dated hotel in a nice place. I am sure it's not a secret for the management that the hotel, both interior and exterior, requires renovation. Breakfast was 2* vs my experience in other 3* hotels in the UK, for example Jurys hotels. no free hotel parking. There is a Grand garage but you need to pay for it, and the capacity is not more than 20 cars.

Staff - a team of great, professional and very helpful people. Bar area is really good, barmen were just awesome. Of course location

The pool area and changing rooms were dated. When having dinner I bought a gourmet chicken burger. This was just three chicken nuggets, what the children have!! Definitely not a gourmet buttermilk chicken fillet that I paid £18 for??. Other than they the food was nice and a good atmosphere on the bar. When we went for breakfast in the morning, we arrived at 9am and it appeared that the staff had already started winding down, even through its served till 10am. I had to ask for butter, Nutella, white bread, water, milk as it had either run out or been packed away. The selection of pastries had gone as well. Very disappointed as my children are fussy eaters and pastries are a winner.

Fab location, very helpful staff and a lovely big room, very clean. I was very happy they didn’t restrict the times children can swim. The hotel is really tidy and re vamped compared to my stay previously.
