I liked everything. It was perfect.

Fabulous location for travelling the area and amenities in the town. Several pubs and two small supermarkets chip shop etc. Whilst in the town centre it was really quiet. I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in months here. The bed and breakfast is fabulous! Traditional charm. Large rooms. Comfy beds. Very clean! Super soft fluffy towels. Great breakfast. Owners Jill and Michael were lovely hosts. Friendly but not imposing. All their jams and chutneys are homemade and delectable. They have two of the most fabulous elderly dogs. Watch as you park as they love to have a little wander down the road. The dogs are not allowed upstairs so please don’t let this put you off if you’re not a dog person. They have parking for three to four cars accessed by a small road to the back. It just has green gates and no signage. It’s easiest to check in first and then find the parking.

Always a bit concerned about air fresheners. Although the dogs were huge they were no problem!

Friendly welcome. Plenty of space in the room and a huge comfortable bed. Slept well. Spotless en-suite. Lovely breakfast which we struggled to get through! Easy going and relaxed atmosphere.

The only issue we experienced was the WiFi failed on our final day.

Mike and Jill are welcoming hosts. They were always available, offering suggestions and generally checking to be sure we were comfortable. The room was very comfortable and surprisingly cool in the midst of a heatwave. Not forgotten was Jill’s stellar breakfast.

Hard to think of anything to improve

This is an ancient and charming guest house in the centre of Llandovery, decorated to a very high standard and very comfortable. Despite the extremely hot weather during our stay, the interior was cool and inviting. Breakfast was also delicious, with both the full fried breakfast and the scrambled egg proving excellent choices. We would not hesitate to recommend The Drovers to anyone looking for great value accommodation in this part of Wales.

Gill and Mike both very friendly with two lovely dogs. We stayed for one night and we checked in quite late in the evening but were still made us felt very welcome. Love the breakfast!!

A perfect example of how a B&B should be. Comfortable bed, soft luxurious pillows and a powerful shower. Welcoming hosts and a truly delicious breakfast with real attention to detail. I look forward to returning again.

Breakfast was scrumptuous and room spacious with bathroom en suite, beautifully clean. Six foot bed with really comfortable mattress and sheets to die for. Best night sleep for ages. Would recommend it without hesitation. We will be back!!

The facilities in the room were very basic. 😒An old hairdryer, a very, very small TV, a few sachets of coffee and tea, sugar, two bottles of water and some toiletries in the extremely small on suite (no soap or toothpaste though🤔) A small fridge would benifit the room to keep the water (and extra milk we bought because we couldn't see the owners to ask) cool.. along with a bigger tele and a bigger mirror. Unfortunately the toilet made an awful noise every half hour or so which disturbed our sleep.. after having to listen to the pub on the square kick out and then for the yobs to move on from their spot outside at around 2am. The room could also do with a deep clean as there was cobwebs in the bathroom and the bed base was quite dusty. WiFi that reaches the top rooms would also be nice. A general update would be good for this lil b and b.

Both owners were lovely and welcoming and their dogs are beautiful. 🥰🥰The location and the building itself has tonnes of character. A few small shops to browse and pubs to eat at.. 🏰 The breakfast at the b and b was absolutely delicious! 🍳👌The towels and bedding were spotless. 🛌😁 We had a lovely lil flower box on the window with a view of the lil castle ruins there overlooking the square and fountain. 💐 The locals were all very pleasant. 😊

Beautiful room, spacious and clean and plenty of storage space. Amazing bathroom with roll top bath and separate double shower cubicle. A very large bed enabled us to get a good night's sleep. The whole house is absolutely stunning and a credit to the owners. We were able to park our car in the private car park that is securely locked with a large gate. We will definitely stay here again.
