Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomStains on the headboard and room a bit tired - but was still comfortable and pleasant.
The Beer Garden was amazing and plenty of seating available. Breakfast was outstanding - I don't even eat bacon but the bacon was crispy perfect! Would go back just to have the breakfast again :)

PortugalWhat a lovely place to stay, cozy and full of character! They kindly let us check in early. The room was on the smaller side, but comfortable, well-lit (two huge windows) and well-equipped with everything from a coffee machine to iron and ironing board. I am a light sleeper, so the blackout curtains and the hotel's calm location meant much to me. Still, it's a stone's throw from West Ealing tube station, which quickly connects you to central London. There's no lobby but the hotel has a pub and the breakfast room is also used for events, so it's a very lively place! There's just a tad bit more wear and tear than one would expect in a 4-star hotel. Several different breakfast options were offered, together with the buffet items - we got to try almost all the menu options and especially loved cinnamon brioche topped with yogurt and berries and smashed avocado toast with poached eggs. Last but not least - all staff was wonderful and their friendly attitude made our stay even better!

United KingdomNothing not to like as I said it’s an older property so could do with a little decoration but they clearly put a lot of value into good service and good food/facilities
The property is very well situated 5 minutes walk from the Elizabeth line, it’s very clean, does look a little tired in places but is comfortable and provides good selection of tea/coffee/water. The breakfast is great cooked to order with lots of pastries/bread/ fruit etc…very good value. There is also a pub joined to the hotel and it provides excellent food. The staff are absolutely amazing, it’s quite a young team with Carly, Amber and a third woman (didn’t get her name) all doing front desk, breakfast etc they were great nothing was too much trouble, the manager is great as well we had a little issue and he sorted it immediately! I’ve stayed in quite a few London (outside London) hotels and this one is fantastic for all the reasons mentioned and as it’s outside central London is great value and your only 15/20 minutes away from London by tube. Really really highly recommended.

HungaryThe room was a little cold, with very thin walls. we needed to keep the heating on during the whole night.
Beatiful room, with complimentary slippers, tea and coffee. It’s in a great location, close to heathrow and the city centre is easy to reach. Beatiful neighbourhood and great restaurants within walking distance. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast is to kill for, fancy brunch for great price, we loved it.

EstoniaThe room was (very) slightly worn out. However, one can also argue it's part of the charm.
The rooms are somewhat bigger than typical hotel rooms in London. Good balance between price and quality. Very good train connection to central London (Elizabeth line and district line, West Ealing station next door; Ealing Broadway, tube within walking distance). Good choice of fresh produce for breakfast.

AustraliaParking is good unless they have a function on. We did get to park in a hotel spot out front that night.
Very close to the Elizabeth line (from Heathrow, or into central London. Free Parking tucked away at the back. Reasonable sized room and decent breakfast, with old hotel/pub charm.

United KingdomThe bed was a bit uncomfortable, but my husband stayed before in another room, which he said was very comfortable. It's not the best location for getting into London and back at night as the station closes. It also seems to be a stop that gets cancelled if the trains are running late. The next station is a 20-minute walk, but I believe there's a bus that goes that way, too.
The hotel, its staff, the breakfast, and the food in the bar are all fantastic 👌

United KingdomReally liked the room, only thing to mention was could do with an update with curtains and windows
The room was stylish with the bath in the bedroom. Lots of extras eg toiletries and slippers. Once inside the door there were stairs downwards so the room was very quiet which is important in London and especially light sleepers. The bedroom was across a narrow hall on left and on right the bathroom so completely separate from room and also there was a small lounge opposite stairs. It was quiet in morning, couldn’t hear cleaning staff so that was great. Breakfad5 was cooked and/or buffet inc in room rate.

PolandThe room was dated but maintained. Unfortunately there were various historical stains, that were around the room, which could do with some modernisation.
Enjoyed the breakfast which had good options and came hot to the table. Variety of drinks (hot/cold), and buffet choice of sweets pastries. Cereals and fruit juices on tap. Fresh toast bread available.

United KingdomWe booked twin beds, and also requested an early check in. In fairness to the hotel our request was actioned and we had an early check in at no additional cost. Where they failed and it was only because they were trying to switch us to an earlier check in room. They forgot we needed twin beds and only provided a double. There was a compromise agreed to add a put me up bed but it was too low to be comfortable getting out of and nowhere as comfy as the double I offered my father in law.
Location and free parking, could drive direct from the end of the M40 in 15 minutes. Our party is not that mobile, great lift from the car park to reception and then to all floors with rooms. Great security if you don't have a room key cannot pass the reception floor. Breakfast is magnificent food and lots of it. Rooms nicely decorated and clean with selection of coffees and tea, biscuits and chocolates. Attitude of the young and vibrant staff, our country will go from strength to strength if these young people are typical of London youth. Great service from Helena, and promise of an upgrade for one thing the hotel got wrong. See above..
