We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AustraliaThe Devonian is a wonderful place to stay. Terence and Piper have put a huge effort into this and are the most perfect hosts. The entire establishment has been decorated thoughtfully and tastefully, our room was comfortable and roomy and breakfast was equisite. This was our favourite place we stayed on our road trip.

This was by far the best B and B we have ever stayed in. Piper and Terrence were amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble and they were super friendly. The room / apartment we stayed in was beautiful and way bigger than we had expected. The house was beautifully decorated throughout with so many wonderful features and even a little cinema and bar ! The garden is stunning and the location perfect. The breakfast was delicious and offered many choices. The teas available in the room were great. We would highly recommend staying here and would visit again in a heartbeat.

Wow what a lovely stay from start to finish. Lovely hosts going above and beyond to help us and friendly and welcoming too. Amazing breakfast lovely extra touches and tasted fresh and filling. Room was great a quiet nights sleep had by all. Little extras made us feel well attended to and cared for. Fresh milk and an amazing coffee machine, biscuits, bottled water the hosted literally thought of everything. I can’t wait to go back

Hosts were welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The house was clean and pleasantly decorated with a good amount of outside seating in the garden. Location was great, only a short walk to the centre.

It is very rare that I write reviews, but when you go to a place that is exceptional then an exception should be made. Please book in at the Devonian it is fantastic. Perfect in every way , unbelievable value for money, fantastic breakfast, extras in our room were of high standard (thanks for the coffee cups and saucers I love nice thin china!) everything spotless. The information before arriving was perfect and extras in the property were amazing. My husband and I travel a lot and the Devonian will stand out as a brilliant nights stay. Exceptional B&B. A warm welcome by Terence and Piper and information on the accomodation and town. The bedroom nicely appointed, as is the rest of The Devonian. The hosts commitment to providing top accomodation and service clearly showed. There was a range of options for a wonderful breakfast.
