We had to sit in the bar for breakfast with having a small dog,we had to go through to get cereal and toast and orange juice,no chairs in the room we stayed but sure thier are bigger rooms with chairs, would be nice to have a evening meal. Even a bar meal would of been good.

We loved bar and jukebox, bar lady was great. Cheerful staff, nice and peaceful, parking was good, plenty of tea and coffee, lovely large t.v. not far to the beach.

There wasnt anything that we didn't like but, we did think that the stair carpet could do with being replaced and, maybe the public areas (ie. Corridors) could do with being spruced up.

Breakfast was lovely but, in my opinion, should have been included in the room price. It was hot and a good size. The Wonky room was funky! Made a nice change to the usual hotel rooms. The bar area was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and Dee was very accommodating. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on.

Being in room 102 when there is a party going on and the music is bouncing off the bedroom wall. The bas was to loud for the room. I suggest if you book make sure your room is away from the function room if a wedding or party is going off.

Very quirky and loved the Alice in wonderland theme

Pity there was chef trouble which prevented getting evening meals. Would have been nice getting a meal before going to our room. The lady serving behind the bar didn't seem very happy.

Most importantly, they allowed dogs. The decor was brilliant. You could tell someone had put their heart into it. The staff were very polite, happy to help and friendly. The room was lovely and clean, the bed was made so nicely it was a shame to untidy it by sleeping in it. Breakfasts were great, good quantity with quality to match.

Slight smell of damp in main reception and corridors. However, the building is really old so is understandable.

There was nothing about Hatters that I didn’t like.

The hotel is exceptionally well looked after and staff are all very friendly, the best part for us was out cooked breakfast, always freshly cooked and piping hot.

friendly staff. Great theamed interior. Beds comfy though one in our room had a slight sqeek. Only spent a few hours there as first went into room about 2am and had booked out by 9am so did not use hotel facilities. There is a lift to all floors which is not common in Skegness which is an issue for groups like ours with disabled guests. It is a bit small and you probably could not get more than a small basic mobility scooter in it. However all the rooms are quite close to the lift so there are no long walks to get to your room. Also plenty of tea and coffee in room though could not find milk but had our own with us. The reception is not manned 24 hour so if like us you are not going to use the room till late you need to arrive early enough to get your key. Overall well worth the stay

No on-site restaurant facilities in the evening.. As a dog friendly hotel, it was a bit too noisy in the evening causing anxiety to our pet. Had to leave earlier than expected, due to this but the hotel were extremely accommodating and provided a refund for the remaining nights.

The staff were very helpful, polite and accommodating. The bar area is very inviting. We would recommend and would stay again but without the dog.

It d8d exactly what it said on the tin so there really wasn't anything I particularly disliked.

Value for money the bar was more like a local pub so that was a bonus.

    Nothing to dislike

Loved the quirkyness of the hotel, and the fact that it wasn't in the middle of the main street, but close enough to easily get to the seaside by either car or bus. The bar and beer garden were open to non residents.

Difficult to find fault, but if I had to say one thing, maybe the pub tables are a bit high for when you have a dog with you.
