Due to structural reasons our bathroom had a macurator. It was no problem at all but the only negative we could find.

The Room was very cozy, the bed was comfortable. Elaine and Ian are such kind hosts with a very nice sense of humor. The Food is very delicious, we had very good breakfast and dinner in the beautiful pub. Saltwood is a quite romantic village and it's a short 20 minutes walk to Hythe were you can visit the crypt of St.-Leonard's-Church, take the miniature-train or just enjoy the park or the beach, from where you can see the coast of France.

Very dated, needed a good scrub and decorating. There were skid marks in the toilet when we arrived. The heating didn’t come on at first and we had to go down and ask. It was suggested that it wasn’t cold enough!

Nice location, good parking Easy to find. We had a meal in the restaurant which was really good. Nice hot powerful shower

the bathroom could do with a bit more attention eg around the shower screen. The macerator for the shower & loo was a bit noisy. But overall for the price point we had a very comfortable stay.

The bed was really comfortable with a large and a comfy mattress. Fresh milk for making tea/coffee was available from a mini fridge in the corridor which I really appreciated. The staff in the bar downstairs were very friendly and welcoming. We didn't use the restaurant but had a really tasty pint of beer from the bar. I would stay again if in this area.

    Nothing all good

Staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of free parking on the streets near the pub. We had our evening meal which was delicious & freshly made. Lovely range of choice too. We had to leave too early to be able to get breakfast. The room was large & clean with complementary tea & coffee which was appreciated. The closeness to the le Shuttle is great. Would definitely stay there again. It’s a great stopover pub.

Chaotic when we arrived, sweaty from a days cycling, to be told we couldn't check in and had to wait forty minutes to do that - short staffed basically. Beds were pretty springy.

Nice old pub on a village green. Decent food, pleasant room and helpful staff - allowed us to store bikes safely at the back behind a locked gate. Several TVs to watch the Euros.
