Easy access, kind staff and nice spacious room. Shared kitchen was great. I kept my lunch for the next day in there.

The place was a bit dated with decor. You had to hire a towel.

The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and the stairs. You could walk into Chester. Car park over the road 24hrs for £5. The owner was friendly. You could use a kitchen and lounge if you wanted to.

Some maintenance issues: a few broken tiles in common area, double glazed window in bedroom that didn't keep out traffic noise, so I assume it didn't close fully. Plug-in air freshener very strong and could be an issue for those with sensitivities. None of these were show stoppers though and did not affect my enjoyment of my stay.

Great location and comfy bed. Kitchen well stocked with plenty of books/DVDs etc in the common area. Nice little outdoor area. Washing machine available at a charge if needed. The host was very friendly and helpful.

The only downside was parking. As there is no onsite car-park and the local area was restricted to residential parking during set times (08:00 - 18:00) we had to pay to park in the carpark. There is a reasonably priced 24hr car park located nearby which we used.

Really clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. Could come and go as you pleased during your stay and late check out time (up until 11am) was great when you have children. Very close to the centre of town for shops etc. Was also close to the canal, city walls and roman garden so very nice venue for local walks.

Could have done with a small bedside table, and as the sink is very curved in room 3, a small shelf above would be handy for toiletries.

The location was superb for the city centre. The host was very welcoming and friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Parking close by is very reasonable, £4.50 for 24hrs is great for a city. Didn't use the communal facilities but very handy to know they are there if you want to warm something up or make some toast etc. There was a very useful and very cold mini fridge in our room which was excellent, and the tiny ice box inside there was an added bonus. Although this was not necessary as there's a proper ice machine in the communal kitchen - making our G&T time at the end of a busy day all the more pleasant.

Place is centrally located - within short walking distance to bus and rail stations as well as high street. Overall clean and tidy property from bedroom and bathroom and kitchen and dining area. We arrived at 5am in Chester and Graham allowed us use of the room (as it was vacant the night before); so grateful for having a warm bed on a cold early morning!

Everything rude staff and poor facilities in the rooms

Not a lot there was no Tv in the room we got asked to leave as people complained about noise if you had tv in the room I’m sure this wouldn’t be the case in future.

Very good value for money in a good location only 5 mins walk into city centre. Basic room but that is exactly what we were expecting and can’t ask for anymore for the price. Great for a base to stay and somewhere to sleep. Would definitely recommend and stay again

The room is very basic, but I guess the price reflects that. You pay for what you get. This was a last minute decision to stay over, so didn't spend a lot of time researching and limited options. The bed and pillows were very hard, the road noise was unbelievable (but we were off a very busy main road into Chester and the road that takes you to the station, that's to be expected) It felt more like a HMO or student house share. Someone in the house or next door gave us a lovely rendition of "I will always love you" which was played on repeat 😂 and we were woke up at 9 to a rave 😂 Bottom line... If you want to room to crash in after being on the beer all night, that's cheap as chips, close to the station, and has a great pizza/kebab shop over the road...and you are that drunk you won't notice the beds uncomfortable... This is the place for you... If you like to stay in a place a little more refined... This isn't the place for you. All in all.... The room served its purpose... It saved us having to dash for the last train home.

Perfect location for attending the live rooms to watch a gig, 5 mins away if that. Lovely pizza shop over the road and a bar, we found parking over the road £7.30 for 24 hrs! Great value. We were sent details of how to access the room with a message from the owner, which was fine.
