We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SwedenA bit akward combination pub/hotel. A bunch of different noisy drunks occupying the pub all day long. You couldn’t hear them when in the hotelroom though. Picturesque? Well, maybe.

United KingdomThe decor and general aesthetic of the downstairs was dated and had a depressing vibe. It is clearly a pub frequented by some tortured soles. Wouldn’t take much to perk it up though
The room was mostly in good condition. Modern and comfortable with good amenities. Shower was nice and hot with good pressure. Staff were friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe pub area is run down. As soon as I walked in i thought oh dear but luckily when you go upstairs through the secure door to the rooms it lovely and much better.
The rooms are nice. Clean, stocked well and WiFi good. I was staying for work for just one night. I didn’t try the food or breakfast so I can’t comment on that.

United KingdomOn arrival to the hotel, I had to go in search for a member of staff so I could check-in.
The actual bar area of the hotel is a little dated so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw my room. It was beautifully decorated with good amenities e.g., drink making facilities, ironing board etc. I found a lovely note from the cleaner wishing me a good stay and a chocolate had been left which was a lovely touch. We had to wait for our cooked breakfast but it was well worth the wait. The person who cooked our breakfast told us he "isn't normally in the kitchen" but he deserves 10/10 for such a lovely meal - fantastic!

United KingdomWe arrived to a very lively disco karaoke, there is nothing on the description about this hotel being a very busy pub with loud music on Friday nights, it did end at 11pm but we had planned on just relaxing at the hotel and getting an early night ahead of a big day competing at an athletics events but had to go out to a restaurant as the noise even in our rooms was just too much. If your going for a fun night you’ll love it, it you want a relaxing evening it’s not for you. The pillows are quite hard and flat and the bathroom floor needs replacing as it appears dirty but actually wasn’t (I tried to clean it but it’s just worn).
Great location, I had a big room but I booked 2 rooms for the same price and my friends room was significantly smaller, great dressing table and loved the huge mirror next to the door. Iron and ironing board in the room, great selection of drinks in the room and a lovely pack of biscuits, nice shampoo, shower gel and handwash. Bed comfortable. Great breakfast and the best thing about this hotel is the staff - they cannot do enough to help and are very friendly.

United KingdomLighting of bedside lights, had to get up to take card out of switch and unable to read my book ad my friend wanted to sleep early and lights had to go off at that time.
We were unable to stay for breakfast due to an early start to our day. Our nights sleep was good and we were pleased with the facilities in the room. The facilities and room were far better than the pictures and we felt our room had everything we needed for a short stay. Took a while to work out how to switch off bedside lights but found out eventually. May be a rethink needed here
