Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ArgentinaThe sonorization of the rooms could improve. I could hear the person in the next room snoring, but it was a minor detail. Other than that, it was great.
The hotel is well located, near to London King Cross Station, so it's easy to move around the city. Although I booked a small room with a single bed, the mattress was extremely comfortable, so I was relieved about that. Also they left me some courtesy cookies, coffee and tea which I thought it was quite nice. The room was extremely clean and well lit. It was a good balance between price-quality.

PolandBreakfast was very bad quality, even if it wasn't expensive, I don't recommend it. I travelled for business, so I lacked a desk in my room.
Comparing to other places in that location of similar price, it had nice interior of the room. It was clean, staff was very kind and location is superb.

United KingdomUnfortunately the bed let it down. We slept OK but certainly wasn't the most comfortable bed. The foam mattress had a large dip in the middle and the pillows were small and flat. The curtains were hanging on by a thread which made closing them bit of a task without pulling them down. Definitely wasn't a terrible stay but was definitely a budget hotel that could do better.
The staff at reception were polite and welcoming. The room was nice and clean. It had a good shower

United StatesThe hotel is quite old school. The elevator was a little scary at first, but there is one if that's something you care about. Room was very small, even by small room standards. There was no real desk room for me to be on my computer for a little bit. The system to leave your keys with the front desk instead of taking them with you was a bit strange.
The hotel is very close to King's Cross and was decent value for London. All the people on staff I interacted with were super nice as well.

AustraliaThe room was incredibly small. Kettle provided which was good, but had to either be placed on the floor or tiny bedside table to plug in. Curtain hanging off so was very light in the room all night and loud noises every time someone used the staircase.

United KingdomI wasn't a big fan of the fact that you can't lock the door once you're inside the room. I mean, you need a key to enter, but seeing that I was a solo traveller I sort of wanted something else to keep the door locked. The WiFi wasnt very consistent.
The location was very convenient as it was close to king cross station as well as angel station (which is what I needed) and the reception was open all the time, which was great. The bed was surprisingly comfortable.

BelgiumWe had a room on the ground floor facing the street and it was a bit noisy for a light sleeper as me. The room and the bathroom are on a tiny side but it was enough for two nights.
Good location within a short walk from the station. Staff is very friendly. We were not only able to leave the bags in the morning but they even offered us water for the way back home. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but instead we found an amazing breakfast restaurant very close to the hotel (Cappadocia cafe). Overall I recommend this hotel as it served its purpose for the price we paid.

United KingdomThe facilities, the excessive noise and the uneven flooring.
The staff really were lovely, but on our second night we got no sleep at all. Our room was on the ground floor near reception and all night we had a LOT of noise and disruption. Mostly from people wandering the halls at 3am but we also was woken up at about half 5 by someone unpacking a delivery in the hall outside our room. There was a lot of banging outside our door. Our room was also on a slant which was very disorientating and the bathroom was so tiny we couldn't fit too well in there comfortably. The photos made the place looks a lot smarter than it was, but again, can't fault the staff and the location.

SwitzerlandThe room was very small. Fortunately, we had a room with a (small) double + a single bed, otherwise the night would not have been comfortable. Vent in the bathroom not working, hair dryer not working and no hooks etc to hang towels - mentioned to staff on checkout, they promised to look into this.
The hotel is perfectly situated not far from St Pancras / Kings Cross station. Close to restaurants. Our room was towards the garden, so not bothered by any traffic. Coffee/tea facilities and biscuits in the room appreciated :) Breakfast ok - would have liked proper coffee instead of instant coffee though.

Australia347 is on the road side which is very noisy. To make it slightly easier may I suggest the hotel messages guests to advise if they are coming by train from st pancreas station they head towards McDonalds then walk up the street where Nandos is on your right. Do not cross over to Nandos. How to get there from St Pancrease, I arrived in the dark at st pancrease and so did have some issues as my phones GPS got confused with so many roads all connecting at one point. Once you have the right st your phone should navigate you easily enough.
I had a new room which was done nicely. Bed was comfortable. I was in room 347 would recommend 346 as both rooms are at the end of the corridor so you would not hear people walking past your door Staff were very pleasant and I was very thrilled they have a lift as it is an old building. Arrived late and checked out early so didnt have breakfast.

Very clean and nicely decorated. The staff very friendly, Yas checked us in and he was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Made us feel at ease, also in morning we had a lovely staff member see us off, friendly and helpful. We left early to catch Eurostar, so can’t comment on breakfast.
