Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThis was a very clean and friendly small hotel close to Kings Cross Station. I was freshly decorated and the rooms were very clean, with everything you needed for an overnight stay. The bathrooms were small, but had everything you needed. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to get non-dairy milk in for me which was great. The also let us leave our bags in their store room for the next day after we checked out, which was a huge help. The reception was 24 hours and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was surprisingly quiet overnight given how close it was to KingsCross.

The rooms look there have been recently modernised. the rooms are cosy but ok for s short stayover. Shower easy to figure out. Location wise is great for St Panaceas and surrounding area.

Position is 7 minutes walking to Cing Cross Metro station and close to grreat places like The Water Rats!! Room was for sure small but very clean and the "jewel" of this hotel is the beautiful garden on the back side! The personnel is kind, gentle and very present!

FranceIt was too hot in the room and the heat didn't seem to come from the heater so i couldn't do anything about it. I wanted to open the window but i couldn't??! It was too hot and sometimes i wanted some fresh air coming but other than that it was ok
The breakfast was nice. The person serving me as well! People were really welcoming, nice and and always smiling :) the room was just enough and the bed was really nice except the pillow that was too flat for me. I'm sorry i left in a hurry and left some things in the shower and didn't close the garbage bag, sorry for the inconvenient as i have much respect for the cleaning persons!

AustraliaThe shower takes ages to warm up but when it does it's ok except that it's unavoidable that the whole bathroom gets wet. The room was very noisy from traffic. Desk staff were brusque.
This is a VERY basic hotel. You would stay here because it's relatively cheap and very convenient to Kings Cross St Pancras. The room was very clean (the common areas were worn and dirty), and there are tea making facilities in the room.

Cheap and cheerful as advertised on the tin. Spent one night having travelled down from Scotland for Champions league at The Emirates . Ideal location. Clean room with good shower plus tea coffee and water, all that I needed. TV reception was a bit iffy but wasn’t in room long enough for it to affect my stay. Didn’t do breakfast. Staff very nice , helpful and efficient . If I’m back down for the football would stay again.
