We booked last minute to switch from another less pleasant property. This is in very central location but also quiet at night. Facilities aged a bit but in good condition in general. Big room. Staff is very friendly :)

In Double room 3rd floor they was no tv remote and view was very poor 5th floor queen room they was no heating system in the room it was freezing in there. Feedback Rooms needed to be checked reguraly and items replaced that are missing from the room toileties need to be refilled as they was only abit left in.each room should have heating its essential in the room.

I liked the double room first. Bathroom was amazing Spa was lovely and relaxing.breakfast was so tasty and so much choice.room on the 5th was more bigger and had a smashing view on the town. Location was brilliant everything close by.fountains and the garden in front of the hotel was lovely especially by night. Staff and reception was friendly and helpful.i liked the lift its was card free no need to scan everytime u wen up and down.

Its a great location for looking round Sheffield and very convenient for the rail station. All the staff were lovely and especially the reception staff. Enjoyed a dip in the spa pool.

Shower was cool and no way to turn up temp . Wasn’t aware of the process for booking car park with discount before we arrived . Couldn’t manage to pay with my card via App using code at Hotel reception so couldn’t get discount .

Convenience on a pedestrianised area close to all amenities . 3 minute walk to City Hall .

Hotel Reception staff do not explain how to access the spa and you have to find out when at the spa reception and then walk back to the main reception - also they are going charge extra for the spa

Having to pay to use the pool was disappointing and would put me off booking again, at a 4 star hotel you would expect this to be included.

The single duvet in a kingsize duvet cover was little disappointing. Also cleanliness wasn't quite up to what it should have been. the floors in public areas looked like they could do with a good clean.

the location was excellent and the staff friendly and went above and beyond. The breakfast was good.

no parking . ( although discounted parking available a short walk away ) . The car park was very difficult to reach due to bus lane restrictions and one way systems Our room looked to be have been hastily cleaned and the toilet didn’t flush properly so we had to change rooms as maintenance were not available to fix it ! When we came home on Sunday night at 10.35 we were told that the bar was closed ! We were served VERY reluctantly !

A few of the spa things didn’t work. The shower and the aromatherapy room. And no jacuzzi??

Staff brilliant, came for a night after a wedding, gave us a complementary room upgrade. Bed was very comfortable Shower was amazing.

The location of this hotel is brilliant if visiting the theatres and night life. The surrounding area is beautiful with the square and gardens attached.

The spa - seemed dated, needed some TLC and a clean. Not a very warm welcome. Also had one complimentary visit but told any extra would be £10 per visit as policy had changed. No onto in rooms - QR codes didn't work. Thermostat didn't work.

Staff.were excellent and very welcoming at reception and bar. Early check in was accommodated which was lovely. Room was clean and comfortable. Robin on reception particularly good.
