My main and very disappointed concern was the restaurant , both days I was with my son there , and was terrible , the experience ruined our stay, we travelled on train , we didn’t have any car to move around to have dinner anywhere , the restaurant left us waiting more than 40/45 min both days , first day was absolutely no one seated there , not busy at all , the staff didn’t have any knowledge about the menu , our food was completely burned , they made it again , much better but another time to wait! .. I felt the more wasted money ever , second day gave them another chance and was the same ..the restaurant was a bit busy but same 45 min waiting , again no enough staff and nobody had idea about things on the menu , and when the food came I didn’t know was something did about my order a disaster! I left it there ..my son pizza burned again but he was waiting for so long he had hungry and he ate ! This time I complained and at least I didn’t pay ! Of course I didn’t eat! When we checked in the lady didn’t explain me anything about the restaurant ! schedule,anything just told me the restaurant is there! I had no idea that we could order food online ! I didn’t know the restaurant was open for a room service 24 ours and many things that I realised at the end on our checked out with the guys that was very nice! He also showed me a different menu I could take the night before on the restaurant , I thing could be much better if this info was informed on the check in! for the Guests know what to do, or have a bit more info about something so important for people travelling on train ! When the only place you can eat is the restaurant on the hotel ! Very disappointed. The rest all good the swimming pool and the spa area very good despite little maintenance job have to be done on the changing room , the ceiling paint was falling in pieces in one of the little rooms to get change ! The room was very good ! Im planning to back again in July with another 2 people. Kind R.

Our original waitress lost our order, but another team member picked up on it after 45 minutes or so. Very kindly moved us inside to a nice warm table and the re-ordered food arrived shortly thereafter. Slightly confused as our waitress said that service charges did not go to the staff, which I had always assumed they did which is why I am happy to pay them

Very accommodating staff and team, rooms very comfortable and spacious. Dining room was fully booked but staff were able to find us a table outside to eat. Food was tasty with good size portions. Breakfast was excellent, with a big range of options.

Went to the restaurant for dinner in the evening and had to complain about the temperature of the food and over cooked chicken. The food served did not live up to quality of the breakfast the next morning.

The room was great, plenty of space and very quiet. Bar area was also great with a large screen to watch sports and ability to get food in the bar. Breakfast was really good, lots of variety and good quality. Facilities were good and swimming pool not too busy.

At this price point I would expect better quality coffee in the bedroom and a complimentary sweet snack and bottled water. The bar was poorly stocked. My first two choices from the drinks menu; a bottle of Peroni and a pint of Aspalls were not available

I had terrible trouble with the app for charging my car but I appreciate this is outsourced to another company.

I stayed overnight with my son who is 13 with additional needs (prader-willi syndrome). I visited the night before and met Sarah Thomas (I think) at reception who was so helpful and booked me into the restaurant and showed me round. My son likes the lifts and talking to people which can be difficult when you are busy, but all your staff were really patient - and I'm really grateful - thank you.

There were dirty towels and dressing gowns left in the wardrobe from previous guests. The drain in the shower didn’t work very efficiently and the tray started to fill. The sink also had a large crack in it.

Breakfast was delicious, great choice and staff lovely. Facilities were fab and made the stay. Loads of parking and we were able to walk around the grounds. Good and drink reasonable prices too.

Being woken up at 6am from the hotel phone ringing. Which scared the life out of us. When answering nothing was said. We did not ask for a wake up call. Staff were very apologetic.
