Loved everything.

Beautifully presented apartment all on ground level with eggs, bacon, bread waiting in the fridge for us. Everything you needed and extra. Our IPad charging cable died and the host very kindly gave us one of hers. Nice and quiet and walking distance to the village.

No complaints at all

This is a lovely, comfortable, well equipped annex with the owners next door. We had a fabulous few days here. Although only a small village, Newick has 3 pubs, a cafe/bakery and local shop. It's a quiet location but a good jumping off point for Lewes, Uckfield, the Ashdown Forest and it's not that far to the coast either.

It was exceptionally hot when we stayed and we could not figure out how to open the velux windows but opening the patio doors at the back of the property cooled the annex. As the garden was enclosed, we were happy with this.

The property had everything that you needed for a holiday stay for a couple. It was modern, clean, there was parking and the owners were very friendly. There was a patio garden with seating which was enclosed, which as lovely to sit in. It was only a 10 minute walk into the village where there are 3 pubs serving food and an established Indian restaurant.

Be awar: Bedroom and toilet only separated by wall (open on top), not really privat on wc... It was already bright in the morning, its not possible to shut out the sun (ceiling windows).

Big Apartment with fully equipped kitchen + separate bed room. It is great to stay a few days in the area and when you want to have some space and your own kitchen. Supermarket in next town. Nice comfy bed with proper bedding. Wifi good. Big TV with Netflix (we have not used it, but its great). Folder with tips for the area. Lots of books and DVDs and useful booklets. Parking spot in front. They even gave us everything for an (english) breakfast!

This felt like luxury accommodation, I had everything I needed and more and I felt very looked after. (For example - breakfast ingredients in the fridge, a washing machine and airer, great to have an en-suite bathroom, spacious rooms, sofa and table in the living room/kitchen). Two small things are: the shower and toilet are in the bedroom area (they are partitioned off from each other but it has no door so can be visible via the mirror on the wardrobe). The position of the toilet can make it awkward to sit properly if you have long legs as it faces the shower glass.

Very well finished to a high quality and suitably furnished with a nice back patio area. Situated in the countryside in a picturesque village. Very polite hosts and parking off the road.

Nice quiet location and lovely hosts who even stocked up the fridge for our arrival with milk,bacon,eggs,beans and bread. Accommodation was decorated to a very high standard and the sofa and and bed were really comfortable. Lovely big television with Sky and Netflix and nice power shower to get you started in the day. Off-street parking and secure with hosts only next door who will gladfully help with any questions or enquiries. Really great stay and would recommend anyone to stay here.

We booked the apartment the day before we travelled, and Ann was so accommodating, responding quickly to our request and providing great directions. A welcome pack of refreshments awaited us when we arrived which was real treat. The apartment is a good size for two with a comfortable bed and the outdoor space a great bonus. The village has some great eateries at reasonable prices and the location is great for exploring the area.

Lovely 1 bed apartment. Light, airy and spacious. Extremely well looked after, clean and modern. Free parking and all of the facilities you would wish for. Friendly hosts. Every question you could have asked is listed in their manual. Perfect for solo travelers or a couple.
