Shower was terrible. So small I could only shower sideways in the bath curtain was constantly sticking to me and banged me head twice on the support bar as a result almost fell one also. Strongly suggest getting a proper shower rather than the bath. Was surprised how bad it was considering this is part of the core service a hotel offers. A decent wc. Could only have been worse if the water was cold.

Room size was fab, went to sleep listening to the waves which was magical.

The food was overpriced and not particularly good at the Amalfi restaurant. The swimming pool was quite grotty but we were glad it was there. The room cleaning was sometimes good and sometimes not comprehensive depending on who was doing it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The kids food and wraps at the outside pizza restaurant were excellent. We loved the views both on the harbour and sea side. All in all it was a good stay and we’d return.

Very expensive. Room a bit down at heel. Frayed carpet. No water supplied in room. No fridge. No safe.

Nothing really it was what it was.

Room was fine, comfortable and roomy. Breakfast was ok but a bit slow on both days stocking up the dishes. Good selection and well presented. Great location for the beech access

Rooms are a little dated. Our telephone didn’t work, no aircon or fridge which didn’t bother us too much as the temp had dropped to 20 degrees but I would see that as a negative in the warmer months.

Day 1_sausage brought out from the kitchen was cooked but cold. How long had they been sat in the kitchen? Day 2 - same problem with fried eggs. As well as being unpleasant I'm pretty sure to meet good hygiene requirements food should be kept warm

Not being able to place hotel food and drink purchases on your room bill was a bit of a hassle. Whilst the hotel location is fantastic the property itself is a little tired for what you’d expect but it isn’t a huge issue

Booking this hotel through booking.com again was put in to a inferior room on the first floor not a very good view,had to be upgraded to 2nd floor with a glass balcony instead of looking at a roof went from room 116 to room 227 , luckily the hotel was able to do this same as last year at the Haven had a side room looking at the carpark and the noisy chain link ferry again the hotel upgraded us, the beds had a mattress topper and was hard the breakfast was terrible the pool didn't open till 10am in there book in the room s it's from 0700 til 2100 other than that it was oka

Maintemance person coming into room multiple times to change a light bulb when partner in room on her own. Never even managed to change lightbulb. Intrusive- could have waited and apparently he had BO which left room smelling of BO for a while.

No air con - not a problem always perhaps, but it was 30*C when we stayed there and the room was very hot at night. The shower water pressure was not great. The rooms are a bit dated and the hotel entrance in particular could use a facelift - for the price, I did expect slightly more upmarket furnishings.

Location (right on the beach) staff and standard of cleanliness were excellent. The rooms were spacious with great views and the bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was also good and the restaurant s and bars all had great views from most tables.
