Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Friendly staff on reception Complimentary upgrade which was a nice surprise I was only there for one night sadly so didn’t get chance to use all the facilities …. But the restaurants and food were beautiful

The location was nice and clearly what you pay for. The staff were excellent. Especially Emily on reception. The free parking.

United KingdomI booked the hotel on the 8th February to make sure we got our usual room I was quoted £ 658 pounds which I excepted if I booked last week it would have been £ 558 for the two nights I’m not happy both of us being Oaps
The breakfast was poor both morning s the food just sits under the heated lamps for far to long We have been coming to this hotel for years this weekend is our anniversary so disappointed with the food

So small I could only shower sideways in the bath curtain was constantly sticking to me and banged me head twice on the support bar as a result almost fell one also. Strongly suggest getting a proper shower rather than the bath. Was surprised how bad it was considering this is part of the core service a hotel offers. A decent wc. Could only have been worse if the water was cold.
Room size was fab, went to sleep listening to the waves which was magical.

United KingdomThe food was overpriced and not particularly good at the Amalfi restaurant. The swimming pool was quite grotty but we were glad it was there. The room cleaning was sometimes good and sometimes not comprehensive depending on who was doing it.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The kids food and wraps at the outside pizza restaurant were excellent. We loved the views both on the harbour and sea side. All in all it was a good stay and we’d return.

United KingdomDay 1_sausage brought out from the kitchen was cooked but cold. How long had they been sat in the kitchen? Day 2 - same problem with fried eggs. As well as being unpleasant I'm pretty sure to meet good hygiene requirements food should be kept warm
