Room windows drafty and let in a lot of noise, we paid extra for breakfast which was not good at all, at no time while we were in a packed cafe/bar was there a full range of food available.

    Good location and free parking.

Room was offered as disabled access. There was no way anyone using mobility aids would get between the bed and wall and that was after we’d pushed the bed over to avoid a broken light hitting us on the head while we slept! That shower rails were rusty and had left marks in various places

    Reasonable distance to centre.

The staff on check in were very sharp and rude. For the amount paid for the rooms the tea and coffee facilities could be better.

The room was clean on arrival and location was good for what we required.

The room was not clean to the standard expected. Carpet in the room was quite dirty and would benefit from a deep clean. As non smoking hotel, I could smell cannabis which was also reported but it continued during my stay. TV setting did it allow to have subtitles on and as part of Equality Act 2010 under reasonable adjustment, this was in breach of act. Breakfast was not nice and options very limited. If you are in hurry, then this hotel is ok but if you would like a better standard, then I would not recommend to stay. Parking is limited and the fee is £5 per day. However, on positive note, this hotel has probably the best reliable wifi I’ve ever experienced.

Good location and not far from centre

The room was noisy……You ‘STILL’ haven’t got the ice machine in the bar fixed, Ice to put in your drinks is essential. Why haven’t you sorted this problem out?. If you don’t care about running out of ice in your bar for months, I expect there are lots of other things you don’t care about. This just tells me the management of this hotel are slack and lazy…Get it sorted .

The first floor carpet was really muddy, like a rugby team had walked across it in their boots, room was cold and the draft from the window didn't help. People talking in the carpark kept me awake.Couldn't work out how to do the heater The room stunk of bleach so had to open the windows to air the smell out. I, could feel the springs in the single bed mattress.meaning I only got about 3 hours sleep. Guy checking us in was friendly and helpful but woman on check out didn't even acknowledge us or say goodbye. Also is more expensive every time we stay although the cost of living has gone up . £100 for a twin room cold room with a mucky carpet , noisy room from talking from the car park and springs in the mattress meaning a sleepless night didn't reflect value for money. Maybe next time we stay will be better

We always stay in Redwings when there's a band on and love it but this time it was different. The bar is open until the early hours and there's a vending machine in the reception. Tea and coffee making facilities too. My friends bed was really comfortable , she said it was like sleeping on a marshmallow!!

The room didn't look hoovered, there was a bad smell in the room, so we had to leave the window open. The mattress was very springy and because the hotel is on the main road, it's very noisy.
