I enjoyed our two night stay. Just wish the weather, had of been better.

Food was perfect, there was a good choice at breakfast. We got an up grade, to a bigger room, it was lovely with great views. I have no complaints really. Shower was good in room. Towels were nice and fluffy. All of the staff, were so helpful and friendly. Plenty of walks. Will certainly return.

We originally booked a room in the Lodge, but it was too small for our stay and requested to move to the Manor. Both owned by the same family. Both Brett at the Lodge and James at the Manor could not have been more helpful. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The views from the hotel are breathtakingly beautiful.

    Everything was good.

Beautiful place in a fantastic location. Good sized room with a King bed. Probably the best shower I've had in the UK, large bathroom and great water pressure. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Couldn’t find anything to dislike. The only thing I would have liked in room six, is a mini fridge which would have kept the little bottle of milk we were given for the tea and coffee cold.

We stayed in room number six, which was beautiful, it had just had a new carpet fitted on the previous day and so had the hallway and stairs. The property had stunning views from the sun terrace and conservatory. Overlooking fields with horses and sheep in. The evening meals we had on both nights where outstanding and Pete and the staff where very helpful and gave us lots of information.

In the end bedroom the curtains let the morning light through and there was an outdoor side light that only switched off at midnight.

Bedrooms looking onto the hills. Extra king size bed in one of the rooms. Very quiet. Excellent breakfast. .Very warm welcome.

The driveway takes a bit of getting used to. We drove by and approached from the other direction a couple of times.

Friendly, hard working staff. Good breakfasts. We had evening meals at Ravenstone Lodge and Ravenstone Manor. Meals were excellent. We prefer the no pets policy of the lodge, pets seem very welcome over the road. Plenty of hot water and good shower. Fresh milk on request for the room, good supply of tea, coffee, hot choc and Borders biscuits. Really lovely little hotel with great views from the terrace and breakfast/dining room

Our stay was wonderful. Thank you Brett and your team for booking our dinner at your restaurant - it was the best sticky toffee pudding we have ever eaten! We had a very comfortable and easy stay here. The bed was comfortable and the views were stunning over the farmland. Breakfast was exceptional too. Thank you!

The furniture in the room we had was a bit too dated and the carpet had seen better days. Unfortunately the bed squeaked a bit, we were only there for a couple of nights so it wasn’t too much of an issue for us.

The location is great. Stunning views and accessible walks from the property. I noticed a bus stop outside the entrance, although we never used it I’m sure if we had stayed longer it would have been handy. The grounds are stunning, the garden is well maintained and beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the staff are attentive and happy to help. The concierge staff couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful, even after a late check-in time. There are thoughtful touches that really make you feel looked after, such as: the forecasted weather being printed, reusable bottles, pamphlets available and knowledgeable staff too. The specials for dinner looked incredible, had we not spent the first two days out all day walking and sightseeing we would have loved to have made it in time for an evening meal at the B&B. It smelled amazing when we returned! The view from our little room was lovely! We could hear the birds (and the lambs) in the morning which was a wonderful experience. You can catch a beautiful sunset from the grounds as it dips behind the peaks. The walk down the the lake is apparently 30 mins although we never got a chance to go down, I was told the walk is pleasant.
