We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

family room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was fabulous, staff very welcoming and pleasant. Able to park outside and location was very close to town centre and harbour. Great cocktail bar over the road (worth a visit).

United KingdomThe stairs to the accommodation were narrow and difficult to negotiate with luggage. Uneven levels due to age and nature of building. Not a problem enough to deter future visit however. Not best suited for those with mobility issues.
The central location with restaurants/shops nearby. Bed very comfortable , breakfast very good, plentiful and freshly cooked to order.

The breakfast was really nice well cooked and plenty of it.just a shame we couldnt have sunday lunch or an evening meal at the hotel they were fully booked and didnt take into account residents we had to go in search of somewhere to eat .the staff were friendly if a little flustered. It was nice that our bag had been taken to the room for us.room was spotless clean warm and comfy
