Parking when I arrived was a little confusing - didnt know if the car park would allow immediate access so was a little unclear.

Breakfast was very good and staff very pleasant.

1.Some of the towels were in a bad condition, frazzled and torn but were still being laid out. 2. had issue with the bed. It was very roughly made and the mattress protector was half off the mattress, giving a lumpy effect The duvet was too small and haging out the bottom of the cover also giving a lumpy unkempt effect, and pillows just chucked against bed head. Overall univiting. Considering the main thing that your customer is paying for is an inviting and comfortable bed. However, bed was comfortable and we slept well. Shame about the look. 3.The room could have done with an armchair and a table. 4.Love JateCarpet was stained in full view and it didn't look like there was any attempt to clean it. Off putting. Breakfast choices was average but tasty Nice to have spa facilities even though it was a bit dated. Staff was excellent . Polite and welcoming. Hotel settings good e.g. lounging area and terrace etc

Was hard to find the hotel carpark. Nearly ended up in the one before. Luckily, someone gave us the code to get out.

Comfy beds, has a lovely night's sleep. The bathroom was huge. Didn't notice the works going on upstairs. Would stay again.

I was furious to find out after my booking was complete that there are ongoing building works and noise . To be fair the staff found us a quiet room away from this when I raised it. One of the twin beds was dreadful as the mattress was collapsed . The dinning room is a bit dull but the terrace nice. Breakfast food a bit cold . Warm plates might help .

It’s in a nice spot by the canal which has a wine bar and coffee shop . Staff were very helpful and bright . Swimming pool was free and super .

Front desk staff member complicated checkin and processed the damage deposit in error. She reversed it but because we were using a Canadian visa, the currency exchange and processing fee wasn’t equal. Renovations being carried out on the 5th floor.

Location was good walking distance to city Center. Parking available $8/day Restaurant on site although breakfast $12.50 when booked night before. Liked that a safe was available in room. Nice view of canal. Pool with lane swimming. Easy access to M1 motorway when heading to London.

No bath mat supplied. Getting out of the shower was difficult. No shower mat either. Bed was in a very strange position alongside a full length mirror. Very odd layout. Couldn’t watch TV as bed was at a side angle to it and got a stiff neck trying to watch it. Also the only power point for the kettle was right I front of the TV so even if I tried to watch the Telly it was blocked by the kettle. The curtains are NOT blackout curtains and they let a lot of light into the room in the morning which I found really annoying. Just the whole layout was wrong and very, very odd.

Nice big room. Good tea and coffee selection. Good TV. Nice bathroom. Very clean.

We had a lot of difficulty flushing the toilet. We were told it was because they were doing some construction in the hotel.

We had a nice view of the water, large windows. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice.

Although the sauna was listed as available on booking.com, it was unfortunately under repair during my stay. I used the steam room instead but, regrettably, it resulted in a rash.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel right in the heart of Sheffield. Our room was spacious and perfectly accommodated our family, providing comfort and convenience throughout our stay. The breakfast offered a delightful start to our day with a variety of tasty options. Additionally, the hotel's pool was a pleasant highlight—spacious and inviting.

The renovation works meant the spa/pool area was a bit limited and there was a lot of construction noise during the day which ruled out a nap after travelling to the hotel and checking in. Also, the dripping tap in our bathroom was a bit annoying.

The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice to swim in the pool.
