No lift. Dirty carpets. Rickety food stained chairs in dining room. Cooked breakfast was buffet style. I think the fried eggs had been out a while. Sure they would have cooked fresh if I had thought to ask.

The noise outside our room which was situated in the main corridor from reception with other guests walking past being very noisy, didn't really calm down until just before midnight, therefore difficulty sleeping. Complained in the morning, staff apolgised, this happened both nights we were staying. We stay here quite a bit, this was the worst it has ever been. Evening meal could do with sprucing up, not that good so little choice

No Air Conditioning, didn't know this wouldn't be working until we checked in. Guests should be told in advance if facilities are not available so they can make a decision whether to book or not.

Looks like they maybe starting to upgrade the rooms,which is good news.

Can’t really think of anything negative as it is exactly was it says on the tin !

Functional hotel for conference type use but I found the staff surprisingly really on it and friendly so clearly someone really cares about a good customer experience, even though it’s more a work type venue.

Heating system didn’t work. The hairdryer was in a drawer at floor level and wouldn’t reach the socket - which was very strange.

The door was not closing properly, you needed to give it an extra push, and the AC was not working. The pillows were small and not comfortable at all.

The breakfast was delicious as always and how quiet it was. The coffee and tea and the small cookies left for us.

The air con unit flashed all night and was annoying but I was told by reception all units are due to be replaced in the near future, which will alleviate that issue. If it hadn't been for this, I'd have given a 10/10

Very well presented and clean, bright and spacious throughout. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean, good sized and well equipped with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included in our package and it was very good, buffet style breakfast with plenty of choice of fruit, cereals, pastries, yogurts, cooked breakfast items, toast and spreads, hot and cold drinks. It was better than some far more expensive places we've stayed and we would definitely stay again.

The bedroom could do with a new carpet. The toilet holder was broken.

The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good and the location was excellent because the hotel was 5 mins away from our daughter's university. Would definitely return again. Also the staffs were pleasant.

Decor is bit bland for the bar area and I dont' like shower curtains as always seems to divert endless puddles to the floor however you arrange them - that's just my personal preference to have a screen. No plugs near the head of the bed which is frustrating when charging your phone overnight etc No USB ports anywhere.

Well positioned near the motorway, fast and easy check in, decent breakfast buffet array covering cooked breakfast, yogurts, cereals, pastroes, juices, tea and coffee. Its clean, polite and helpful staff.
