Excelent location and fantastic staff. Very kindly asked us when will we arrive and double check when we didn’t arrive on expected time. The room was very clean and spacious, most important: overly fair price!

There was damp on the sealing and walls of the bathroom and paint falling off. There was also a weird smell in the bathroom that I had to air out for quite a bit. The sink was also quite small. Overall cleanliness wasn’t the best as I found hair on the bed sheets that clearly weren’t cleaned properly.

The staff were friendly and gave me a key so that I could enter the hotel if I came late. The location was quite nice, close to lots of restaurants, shops and parks. A kettle and tea was also provided in the room.

Everything it was a complete s**t hole there was a hole in the wall with a pair of dirty boxer shorts between the wall and the bed. The sheets were dirty and didn’t fit the bed, the duvet had a big rip in, the shower was absolutely filthy, so much so that we refused to even turn it on. The mattress was the most uncomfortable I have ever known, the bedside drawers which was the only storage in the room were mouldy inside, the fridge looked like it had just been salvaged from a skip. The entrance steps from the road were just broken tiles and very dangerous.

We were offered an upgrade to a larger room with the promise of a positive review. That room was so damp and covered in black mould it was a health hazard and had to ask for another room. The staff gave us another room, but seem disinterested in the mould issue. The room we slept had an ill-fitting door that would offer no protection from smoke / fire. I'd have expected a proper fire door. The shower head was filthy and in desperate need of some limescale remover. Other facilities such as the fridge worked but in need of an upgrade for cosmetic reasons.

The location was perfect for going to after an event at the Apollo.

A bit of a shambles! No breakfast! No TV working......or light!...but definitely a brothel g oing on!

It is very cold in the room, don't go in winter! They were really nice and gave us a portable heater but then we had to give it back and we were freezing! They only turn it on 4 hours in the whole day!! Also, the linen was humid like it didn't fry properly and the place was not really clean in general.

The hotel was cold as the heating is usually turned on for 2 hours in the evening and 2 hours in the early morning. The bathroom was too cold to shower and there wasn't room service.

The room was not redone. We arrived at 10.30pm and even though we reported that the sheets and pillowcases were very dirty, no one responded until the next day. The floor was dirty, full of dust and hair. No type of comfort, not even a simple soap dish in the shower, not a chair or a coat hanger in the bathroom

It was a nightmare, we didn't sleep whole night, if someone walk the stairs or the room upstairs it like stying inside the room, really constructed badly. Not recommended.

The room was not clean. The window, table, mugs and other appliances were dusty. Some part of the bathroom was clean but overall it was really dirty. Shower head had a lot of dirt on it, the tiles looked like it wasn’t properly cleaned. The pillows looked really old because it was too flat. Bedsheets were dusty as well.

The property was close to the event place and a lot of restaurants and shops and train stations were near the area as well.

The room condition is totally different from the advertised photos. It is very low budget hotel, no left & no lobby there. We have to carry big luggages & walk through a very narrow & steep stairs to 3rd floor. After office hour there is nobody in the office, you can only message them. During summer the room is very hot, the hanging fan on the wall is very dusty & noisy. The room is very small for family of 4 person, not enough space to open all the luggages. Our room is facing to a busy street so it is very noisy. The pillows are very flat & bed are very uncomfortable, you even can feel the springs when lay on the bed.

Had a phone call from owner asking when we were going to check in. Told owner between 5 & 6. Phone call 5.40 saying we wouldn’t be able to check in because he was going for dinner, even though we were 5 minutes away. Refused to wait. Didn’t arrive back at property till 7, despite numerous calls. When he arrived owner says not his problem and if we had an issue we should have not bothered checking in. No apology. Awful customer service. Avoid at all costs

Should not be advertised as 2*. Room was run down, old uncomfortable mattress with a big dip in the middle, everything worn down, stains everywhere. Shower flooded and bathroom smelled. Although the staff member was nice enough, reception is only staffed during check-in so any problems, you have to text him.
