Hotel was overall clean but there were stains on the carpet and walls. No full mirror in the room. Room was on the lower ground floor and windows were not great to keep all the street noise out.

Excellent location, close to Paddington, Lancaster gate station and Hyde Park. Clean bathroom, bed, furniture. Good size room & bathroom with large shower and complimentary beauty products. Good wifi connection. Friendly staff. Complimentary water, coffee, tea provided. Iron, ironing board, hair dryer and safety box provided. Pretty good value for money, considering the location.

Quite corporate. Nothing exciting in terms of decor. I didn’t like that I was given a room that was under ground level but when I expressed this they soon found me an alternative on a higher floor.

Good location. Quiet in the evening. Very close to The Italian Gardens for lovely breakfast.

Hotel has no elevator, and we were on the last floor, 4th floor. Generally this is not a problem for us, but my partner had some recent surgery and high floor without elevator was somewhat challenging for him.

Renovated room, clean, tastefully decorated. Coffee and tea provided. We were there in December and the room was warm and cozy. Location is great and we felt it was great value for the money.

It was a nice, clean room, in a great central London location. The staff were very friendly. It matched my expectations.

The deluxe double room is still not a big room. Ours was on the 4th floor, which has a low ceiling, making it seem even smaller. It is an old building so there is probably not much that can be done, but it makes one question the value for money.

The location of the hotel is very good. Close to a lot of transportation, and close to the beautiful hyde park, which makes it very enjoyable to also walk. There are nice pubs, bars etc in the surrounding area. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day. The bathroom was renovated.

There is no elevator, so you'll have to carry your suitcase up and down the stairs, which can be a bit of a hassle if the suitcase is heavy.

The floor of the shower cabin had some dry residue on it. It wasn't visible when the water was running and wasn't a real issue.

Sink was too small, shower was a tad small but I guess that’s how it is with a listed building.

Location was excellent, so many options to eat, close to the station. Hotel was on the small side but very pretty inside.

I was given a lovely quiet room on the top floor but it did mean taking my bag up 8 flights of stairs. I didn't mind at all but could be an issue for some.

Nicely decorated, clean hotel in a lovely building. Felt was good value for money for area and appreciated little amenities like nespresso coffee machine and Molton brown toiletries. I recently stayed at the park grand which wasn't much different in price but this hotel was much cleaner, better decorated and quieter. Plus I had control of the temperature in the room.

The hotel was great. Clean and well supplied. The bathrooms are a bit small so if you are a bigger person it may an issue, otherwise the location is perfect, especially if you are going in and out of Paddington station.
