Location was great we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. We were happy to pay for parking as it can be difficult in Oxford. The hotel was lovely, staff was friendly and the bed was so comfy we would go back.

On one of the mornings the shower was not very warm. The lift was not working properly throughout my two night stay. The staff said that they had informed the management but they obviously couldn't do anything about it. However, they were more than willing to help me when I needed help with carrying my luggage. I was in a standard double room, which was fine for me on my own, but in my opinion would have been quite difficult for two people, as there was very little room in between any of the furniture.

The reception staff were extremely nice and helpful and so were the staff at breakfast. The bed was comfortable. The kettle, tea bags and biscuits in the room were all good.

The view from the 'executive room' was the wall of an adjacent building. You shouldn't offer this room at the same rate as other rooms in the same category.

The place was spotless, the room was quiet, a good size and the mattresses were very comfortable. Excellent full English breakfast buffet.

Hotel was a little far from the bus stop. Sockets were also far from the bed (maybe intentional).

I liked that the hotel is at the premise of old mansion or estate that is very historical considering it's Oxford. The breakfast was exceptionally good, all expectations were met. 2km walk from Oxford high street and bus station. Located on the street with all the beautiful faculties of Oxford and other universities.

Tv signal wasn’t the best, and with the rate you have to pay for a night, I’d of expected guests to have free parking and not be charged £10 a night, I ended up parking on the road to avoid this, I’ve stayed at a lot of places all over the country and this is the first one I’ve known of to have to pay to park at the property you are staying in

Nothing really - definitely deserves a better rating, it was everything I expected from a 3 star hotel and the staff were really nice.

Really lovely and helpful staff. Nice room with a super king bed. Clean and plenty of coffee/tea etc in the room. Not too far from town centre. Parking. Quiet in the evening, excellent blackout curtains. Well priced.

If what they claim as an "executive" room is better than a non-executive room, I dread to think what one actually gets in a non-executive room as their definition didn't match mine. Hotel is "tired" in places and the room we had and the corridors could do with a refurb.

Rooms were a little dated although were clean and functional.

Good rooms as expected although a little dated. Good breakfast selection, staff were very friendly and helpful. Good place to stay and bus stop just at the end of the road for easy access into Oxford centre (you could probably walk but we had a less mobile person with us).

Sheets didn't quite fit the bed nor did duvet and we had executive suite which I suspect was the same as the double next door Noisy banging doors late at night and early next morning 3rd night room only had one bath towel , no milk or tea Heating room. Was cold on arrival had to sort it ourselves yet public areas toasty Parking at front and rear of property Arrive at 3 stay two night leave by 11 cost £20
